Saw a YT video this week that said this: New batteries take less amps to fully charge than older/old batteries. So the BMS needs to know when a new battery is installed to reset it's charging strategy to "new" mode... basing it's adjustments based on on runtime hours on said battery, else it still tries to change the new battery like the old one, which shortens the life of the new one because it is significantly over charged.I still don't understand the BMS reset thing. What does it really do? And why should we have to pay to have it done, whether by tech or forscan or anyone else?
