Surprised they don't note a time limit on that. Those wires coming off the battery would melt at that draw long before the battery gives up.
Or burn the living sh#t out of the starter motor, maybe someone will pull the fuel pump fuse and continually crank the engine to see what the weakest link is.

You do realize he can't see any of this since he has you on ignore? It is like you are having an argument with a ghost that is living rent free in your head.

If I had him on ignore, he would not be able to see said post

Reminds me of the time we were afloat on my buddy's boat on a huge lake in Ohio. We were all drinking of course. The boat didn't want to start. My buddy hit the key and let the starter crank so long the battery terminals melted. (dumbass!) After attempting to fix the cause of why it wouldn't start, we were at a loss how to get battery power to the starter. I suggested holding the cables by hand against the what was left of the terminals. Everyone was scared to death about getting shocked, so I stepped up, held the cables by hand, positive in one hand negative in the other, and said hit it. Motor fired up, we were on our way, I was a hero. Current follows the path of least resistance. Same reason squirrels don't get fried when running down a power line.

Huh, didn't know I needed to put the negative before the sensor. I use a capacitor based jump starter to help others, I need to charge it off my own battery so I do that when the engine is running. I have done that by going straight to the post, since I am consuming electricity, does it matter where the negative goes?

If curious what I use, it is an Autowit jump starter you can get on Amazon. Fully recommend it btw. Linked below.

Autowit on Amazon
That particular Jump Starter you have, like any Jump Starter should have the Ground hooked up to the Chassis on Modern Vehicles if trying to Jump Start a Vehicle. That said I also understand that sometimes is not possible for the fact some dont have long enough cables and sometimes the Battery is so dead that you have to go directly to the Battery for Jump Starting.

As for Charging the Jump Pack, Clearly it lets you go of the Cigarette Lighter or a USB depending on what is available

Lots of users here have ignored me over the dumbest of reasons. Funny for how much texans(which make up the majority of the users ignoring me)talk about libtards being pansies, they sure are quick to put someone on ignore.

Even though I've never stated my political beliefs.

Anyway I have nothing to contribute as this problem doesn't pertain to me and @Frenchy so far hasn't ignored me so guess hes tolerating me.

Edit: oh, thought Frenchy was from Texas not Colorado, my bad.
Howdy, pardner. The sure is a hot topic. What would ac/dc say about this. High voltage rock and roll im sure. Well, im from texas and dont ignore anyone here. The entertainment is free.

I just got nothing to say bad about anyone. Cept for hitler, or putin, or stalin, or something like that

Technically from Tennessee and have been all sorts of places.

That said, I feel I have hit the useless Ignore Button on the other place more than I have here...... And I have been here much longer!!

Yep, that and the 100 mpg carburetor. All gone! At least, that's what they want you to think.

Personally, I'd just disable the feature all together.

If it's any consolation, you're in the lead for the most usernames.
