Nice, I got mine a week ago. Hard to believe you have to add a brake controller for a truck with a tow package and a tow capacity of 7500 pounds.Come on Ford let’s step up.
Also the 4 wires from the factory are pretty short to connect to the aftermarket controller.
All that complaining aside, I got mine installed and picked up my new trailer today towed 200 miles home and the trailer brakes work good.

It is, and they didn't include it with the standard tow package on 6G, which is $495. You have to get the "Advanced" tow package to get a TBC, which is $895.

At least they started to offer it.
Mine is a 2019 and I don’t believe the “advanced “ tow package was available just the $495 one.

My Nissan is the same way, I have the Tow and Tech packages but the brake controller, and the tow mode button are sold separately...

Mounted over the weekend after cleaning, sanding, priming, and paint. Had to do some slight trimming to the frame mount and to the FX4 Skid Plate.

OEM oil pan skid plate(engine cover as they call it). $41 shipped.

Yes it's flimsy, but I'm concerned about road debris not boulders.
