What's with all the tiny little icons floating around, are those other Waze users?
They are. You can turn them off in settings under map display/show Wazers.

I've been playing with it too and am starting to like it more over the Apple Maps. I do like that you can put it to sleep so it's not always active and draining you phones battery.

Yeah, I'm just going to stick with this big expensive piece of equipment instead of Android Auto or Apple Car Play. Much easier to use and it transfers much easier

I am beginning to prefer Waze to Google Maps. Neither shows elevation, but I was able to get the compass and speed zone to show on Waze. It seems to display speed zone in places where my GPS would not.
My 2023 Mazda CX-5 reads the speed limit signs (and stop signs) and displays them in my Heads Up Display!

I like this tech much more then depending on the cloud. Wish my Ranger had it.

The only time my GPS will display the stop signs or traffic lights is when I'm in route. Speed is on most public roads and not always accurate as we know

I've not done it, but I believe there is an option in Forscan to enable this. I think there might have even been some discussion about it on this site.

I want to say it only applies for the fancy dash on the Lariat

I have the speed limit displayed on my 2019 XLT dash. Works good and you can set the point where it starts flashing over the limit. Only quirk is on MY 2019s it displays the speed as a round European sign. On later years it displays a square NA sign.

Sounds like your truck wants you to move to Europe. Probably a good idea
