Probably 100 to 120 pounds? I couldn't heave it into the bed, I drug an end up, climbed up, and then pulled it in. The Billy Goat bag was heavier than the four I had dumped into the Leaf Burrito because it had sucked up a lot of dirt and acorn shells. I'd say that one was around 50 pounds.

There was room in the burrito but I knew if I added that last one, it would have been crane time! =D

The beauty of the burrito is at the dump. I open the tailgate end of the burrito and the leaves slide out easily. It does leave some leaf dust behind from what can get through the mesh.

They slide out as easily as a tarp but the bag stays pretty limp since air can move through it. That's true when I fill it too. I unzip it onto the driveway and it stays put even in a 10-15 mph breeze.

I need to see how I like it over an entire season. I haven't used it for glass clippings. I usually only have 3-4 lawn-and-leaf bags per mow. That might fit in my other Seeking-Greta's-Approval lawn care strategy. =p

How do you like the EGO mower? I have the snowblower and love it, so much better than a gas machine. I have been looking into their mowers for next summer.

How do you like the EGO mower? I have the snowblower and love it, so much better than a gas machine. I have been looking into their mowers for next summer.

That mower is five years old now and I'm very happy with it. The blades can be a bit of a pain to remove, but that's from me taking them off every time to sharpen them! They came apart great the first two dozen times, but now the keyed heads (that diamond shape under the head below) are slipping a bit. Maybe I shouldn't be so frugal and splurge on a set of new blades! =D

The only thing that was a bummer is that it doesn't lift as well as a gas mower. The blades are lighter and thinner and it doesn't have as much suction (I guess that's more up the the bend in the blade, which causes more resistance and would drain a battery more).

So it won't pick up as many little twigs as a gas mower.

And, I think because of that, it makes a bit of a shaggy cut. That's dependent on grass type as well, but our bluegrass and fescue are a thin bladed grasses. However, my old Toro did a more even cut on it. I have grown to like it (lol) and it does a lovely job making the yard look like the gas-mowed one would a few days later (kind of like a haircut, supposedly they look better 10 days later - I dunno, I still look just as fat and dumpy). =p

I almost exclusively bag with it and it does fine. Normal sized bag attachment. If you set it really low, it will suck up acorns (but scalp badly). I mow on 4 most of the time, I like the grass to be about 3 inches tall. The deck is very light, but you're probably aware of that with the snow thrower (interestingly, I went with the Toro electric on that).

I did mulch mow with it for the first two summers and it did great with those blades.

I just used the side discharge last week for the final season cut when I go really short for the winter. I'll still have a few more times of using the lawn vac before winter so that will pick up those clippings.

It's light enough and my yard is flat and small enough that I don't really need it to be self-propelled, but that works nicely and is very adjustable.

LOL, I never use the headlights except when a neighbour down at the corner is using his Ryobi with its lights on, then I'll flash him to wave. =D

I also have these Ego tools: blower (old 580 cfm), string trimmer, hedge trimmer, and portable area lamp (love that thing and use it quite a bit). The hedge trimmer is as powerful as a gas Echo I had years ago when I did summer mowing as a teacher. My daughter-in-law has the 18" Ego chainsaw and loves it (what a great dad-in-law getting her that for Xmas!). =D

that diamond index thing wallows out the blade and rounds off a bit after a few dozen goes with the pneumatic ratchet ...

Haven't gone to the mower yet as my 20 year old Craftsman still starts on the second pull every time and refuses to go out gracefully....so I'll stick with it until I have to play "Tap's" over it.

Drove to post office (or what even automata thing that is nowadays) and picked up longer bar for the chainsaw. After installation and testing I kind of realized that I might have missed to buy some auxillary gear for it.

Went with Oregon bar and speedcut chain without any kickback protection. For some reason I'm just not compatible with the Husqvarna SP33G chain which has those kickback protection spikes. Had to move H30 on the older chainsaw earlier (over the SP21G) for same reason.

Both just feel like they don't cut it for me..
