My iPhone has all the same settings you've noted, and also noted above in some other replies. It finally connected to my Ranger - maybe 30 minutes after I opened the app. But now that I was ready to post this, I looked at the app and there's a notice that services are "Temporarily Unavailable. We are having system problems."
- If you have an iPhone go to Settings>Apps>FordPass. Under Location, check that it is not set to Never.
- Background app refresh and cellular data should both be set to On for best results.
