Desperately looking for a 3rd Brake Light antenna mount for an N type HAM radio antenna.

I don’t want a fender/hood/tailgate/bed mount. I’ll not be drilling any holes in my truck. And I will not spend $300+ for a billet aluminum NMO mount.

What fits the bill perfectly is pictured below. The guy was on Etsy but, no longer. If anyone finds something of similar persuasion, please post! Larson makes something close but the Etsy guy nailed it.

I am assuming that is 3D Printed, they can make some cool and interesting stuff, but I have not really followed the new printing trends that much.

So, with that said, how about old school and use the design as an idea for a piece of aluminum angle (extrusion). It would not take much to duplicate the design.
It looks like you will have to file down the bottom of the CHMSL to allow the antenna cable routing.

An alternate material would be a good quality plastic angle stock

The only issue would be the difference of LED vs Standard (CHMSL) the LED is flatter on the back and would be easier to fabricate vs Standard has the extrusion on the back of it that you would have to cut out (modify) the flat angle stock.

My only concerns would be.
1. Sealing of the CHMSL - Ensure no leaks
2. The Whipping Effect (Stress) of the antenna on a plastic housing

If you can find a CHMSL that has the same mounting screw holes, it may be possible alternative.
But unknown if the dimensions are the same.
Try This:

Now using the Part Number for the CHMSL
1. Standard - KB3Z-13A613-A
2. LED - KB3Z-16A613-B

The B3 - in that P/N - denotes Product Line Code - (Ranger)

The base number 13A613 - Denotes a CHMSL

So yes, by Google Searching 13A613, comes up with different designs and some have the same mounting screw layout, but are the dimensions the same IDK, so for your project it may work as a base install but might have to modify the mounting plate (angle) for the attaching screw holes if they are not the exact same dimensions.
