that was great! i wish i had that chair it looked comfy...

It was a great chair for nearly 20 years and I used that "leather" tape stuff to make it last a bit longer. The springs were shot and I had two gel foam things shoved under the cushion as well as a piece of corrugated plastic.

I have really horrible sleep apnea (as opposed to good apnea) and I have slept many, many nights in that thing. It was really hard to give it up - both because chairs cost an outlandish amount and it was such a comfy chair. I suppose if I wasn't such a fat @$$ it probably would have still been in decent shape. =(

It was sad to discard it but ... life moves one and waits for no chair! =D

And good eye on liking the chair, it was 100% US made - from a company in Saltillo Mississippi!

Not retired yet! Gonna go to 70 unless they can me. My wife worked to 72, so I can only dream of retiring early and doing daily dump runs.

Well .. at least I have something to look forward to. =D

Hmm, and you bsr956 just sparked a new endeavor for me. If I want to spend my days doing dump runs, I need to change the entire dumping paradigm! I need to be a disruptor!

Elon has his SpaceX, I'm gonna build space transporters to eject the world's crap into the final frontier!

After all, if I make at least one dump run a day when I retire, that'll mean:

Holy cow! That means we'll run out of landfills and oceans to dump into, so I MUST build this new waste system!

And I never take anyone's idea for granted, so:

if we want a retro-style

The only bummer is that Greta may be upset!?! But why should she? We'll be cleaning up Earth! So she will be happy! We're ecological warriors cleaning up Earth! =D

drove the four g to work like normal. but its dark as night time outside and storms on the radar. hoping the baby truck does not get another pounding of hail damage... it was such a clean truck before. now its like a golf ball. ?
