Gen6 possible cover for spark plug well in cylinder 4 (edited)/water protection

I also posted this in general topics, but does this look like a cover for cylinder 4 (edited i originally put cyl 1) to protect the cylinder well from getting water in it?

Cylinder 1 is the one in the bottom of the photo, closest to the front of the vehicle. The one in the far back is #4, and I think that's the one you're mentioning. And yes, that does look like the boot over the high-pressure fuel pump is also covering the coil pack for #4 in that photo, but it's a little hard to see.
Is this a photo under the hood of a new Gen 6 Ranger? Their sheet metal is shaped differently, so I wonder if they might have the same drainage issues around that spark plug that others have mentioned in this forum, or if that boot is indeed a pre-emptive change?

yes this is a screenshot of a video review of north american gen 6 ranger. Thank you for correcting me on the cylinder and understanding what I meant. It definitely looks like the cover has expanded out to cover that cylinder. Im going to edit this to reflect cylinder 4.
