Nice enough day today, with nice cloud cover to block sun....
Gave Truck his first spring bath and detail, 303 Detailer and 303'd everything that was rubber, plastic, vinyl, including a double coat to toneau cover.....

Win for the S-Cab!

Couple questions.......
Are those side mirrors factory, they look different than the ones on my 21 Lariat?

Are the side strips dealer appliied, I did see any stripes offered as standsrd equipment?

Lastly, the body side moldings, are they also dealer added?

Great looking truck!!

Mirrors are replacement expandable from ClearView...for towing...great for towing travel trailers that are the regular 8 foot wide.
Lower molding is just a 2 inch wide body side molding I got on Amazon.
Upper striping is a vinyl accent....got the idea from another member. It's one of those that you have to get right the first time cause once on the truck you can't reposition it. If interested, let me know and I'll try to find the dealer I got it from.

Looks beautiful! Nicely done and my weather's warming up and I can't wait to peel off those pillar stickers like you did.

Because the only thing better, imho, than a Race Red Scab is more Race Red! =D

And great tip on the double coat of 303 for the tonneau, I think mine's in dire need of that same treatment. Soupie's mighty thirsty for it!

They suit the rest of your build and look good on that colour. Do you also have the tailgate appliqué?

I appreciate that! I actually do not have the tailgate applique, was considering it, but probably wont get it. I did get the Air Design tailgate lip spoiler though.

Got back from my pilgrimage to the Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame late last night. Even more pollen coated the Ranger while I was gone. 3 months since last wash…81 degrees out today so it had to be washed. Next 3 days expecting rain, of course ????

That FX4 sticker sure looks good shining in the sun ??????

i didnt do it but my mechanic put in the new ready lift crash bars.
he said, "after burning up two sawzall blades I went to plasma cutter. toughest steel from ford ive ever seen." I had to hide my laughter. i knew it was going to be a pain in the ass. When i dropped the truck and parts off i said two ways to do this. one : take off the front bumper and then remove bars. two: skip the bumper and just cut the bars... I think how i said it made cutting sound easier and faster ? apparently the cutting turned into cutting cutting cutting replace blade. cutting cutting cutting, replace blade. hammer hammer. cussing cussing cussing. then plasma cutter hammer, remove. then do it all over again on the other side. more room now but still have a rub at hard right lock... dammit ford quality control. the frame support that looks like a triangle for the front crash bar is about half an inch further away from the the rest of the steel than the same part on the other side. you guessed it. that is exactly where / what is making the rub. so wheels to follow. if that dont do it i will go back and borrow his plasma cutter . i dont care if i have to use astro glide and talk dirty to it, the 5g is gonna be on 33 inch mud tarrains. ?

That is about how mine went. I left the tires and bumper on. Killed two dremel tools and did one bar each night for an hour in the driveway. Finally got a Dewalt Grinder and 4" Carbon discs. Last one went quick. More offset will help you +29 or so.

Grind, Grind & Replace the Tool. ? Had to do the same thing to the Bronco.

Asked you on the other thread what size you ended going with, but make them fit! ?

hey jason, so the new tires are 285 70 17 which many members have fit with little to no issue after crash bars. Apparently cooper tires are made on the large end of the measurements. most 285 70 17 are 32.4 -7. the cooper mt are 32.97 tall. so just enough to be a pain in my ass. the new wheels are at the recommendation of discount tire. its a + 18 which will put the rim about 31 mm further away from the suspension. Hopefully that will do the trick. if it does not im sure discount will let me try another set with different offset.
