Oh, most of the social-economic issues of the Weimar were due to the world-wide Great Depression of 1929. Similar issues were hitting most countries at the time.

Thank heaven we have our Constitution which has clearly defined separation of powers and succession.

The one problem we do have is the founding fathers did not see the progression of the public servant position of representative becoming a full-time vocation. It was never intended to be a career position, Including wages, health benefits and retirement benefits, if they even thought about them. Don't even start on the behind the seens dealing for favors that go on to get things passed that have nothing to do with what's best for the country. But, what will get me elected again so I can keep my cushy job.

Right now our country is so divided with our extreme left and right-wing politics that not much get done and what does is not for the right reasons and is not well thought out.

And Germany recovered from the depression on their own. In 1933 they went from 6,200,000 unemployed to 3,700,000 in nine months. They made prostitution illegal again. They offered home loans that you could pay off just by having kids. 1 kid = 25% off. Have 4 kids = your loan is paid off. Good. I hate all those states anyways. When they ban gas vehicles the rest of us need to dismantle all the outlying EV charging stations so they are stuck there and when stuff goes south they have no escape.
