Portland seems to be having a difficult time for sure.I work for the City of Portland.
The pandemic moved us to all working from home. Highways were clear. Air was cleared up. I put maybe 2000 miles on my car over the past years - almost 3 years now.
But the push now is to get everyone working back downtown.

So is New York. No new gas furnaces or stoves.A construction contractor friend of mine recently told me that Washington state is banning the installation of any new natural gas furnaces.
Good thing the pandemic is over now.I work for the City of Portland.

No, it’s free from solar and wind silly goose ????Just imagine how high the cost of electricity is going to be.
I live here too. This State has gone freakin nuts! To add, this was by rule makers and not even the Legislature. To top it all off we have no new nuclear facilities, removing hydroelectric dams, coal is evil.....where will the power come from. Crazy!!!!
I retired from operating hydro in Oregon. I keep in touch with my co-workers and it seems like a deliberate management style to end hydro. The mindset of what is going is incomprehensible.I live here too. This State has gone freakin nuts! To add, this was by rule makers and not even the Legislature.
