You're 100% correct! =)Putting the suspension under a load will make it behave differently. In many cases it will feel better.
Adding those couple hundred pounds back there definitely are making the suspension behave more betterer.
A full tank of gas and about 90 pounds of crap I'll rarely use in those SwingCases helps too.
Of course, apart from this thing being a groovy water bed for those intimate moments at the dump, it certainly doesn't help with our incredible gas mileage.
The challenge will be draining it come spring - they make a "siphon" but I may try with a hand pump from our kayaks, or better yet and more shoulder-friendly, a small cordless transfer pump.
