IDK Mike. Keeping track of votes and PM's on this forum seems like a PITA. Maybe the forum owner would allow you to post some kind of link that would handle the ordering part for you like Quiken or whatever small business software is out there? Maybe becoming a sponsor gives you that? I know this was kind of a grassroots process of folks wanting a way to check their transmission fluid easier and you delivered a home run. Maybe you are to the point of streamlining the ordering process to get you more time in the shop than managing orders. Anyway, I hope you figure this out. You have a fantastic product, your packaging is fantastic, your instructions are fantastic. You got a lot of good going on.

Huh just crossed this thread and given a bunch of the posts seem to have been deleted I never put together that the A3C trans tube was... a knockoff... I saw it on a FB group and ordered one earlier today.

As a maker, who runs his own small business solving problems for other platforms... (motorcycles)... and having randos rip my stuff off...(expecting china, but ending up with bubba next door doing it)... thats a bummer.

Ohh well, its already ordered, but kind of a disappointment. I assume the guy who made the A3C was booted from here and that's why his posts are not anywhere other than in quotes?

Hey, it's okay, it will do the job for you, do be aware that the green O ring on his transmission fitting, is sort of a cheap Chinese ORB type fitting, it needs a large enough chamfer to fit the O ring, or it needs a proper ORB machined hole to thread it into.

Just do this, when you tighten the fitting into the trans, make sure it bottoms out, if it feels squishy, the O ring is being mashed, that transmission case is designed for a flat seal, even though the Ford cap has a green rubber seal, it is a flat surface seal.

I would torque it up, then remove it and inspect the O ring, if it is fine, torque it back up and leave it, if it looks squished, you will need a flat sealing washer, heck, I'll even send you one.

The second thing to check, his fitting is close to the A/C line, there is a simple way to adjust back the line, you can message me if you think it's close, I will forward you the steps to adjust it out of harms way, you can video the movement of the engine, switch from drive to reverse, plant the brake and give it some throttle, the engine moves quite a bit.

Otherwise you will be fine, and of course if you are unhappy in any way, I will be able to sell you one soon, actually, you can make his work, it's just what you are comfortable with.

Not sure about the deleted post, I guess he got banned, so would have I if I did not become a sponsor, the people who pay the bills around here have rules for a reason.

Good luck, if you have any questions, I'm sure Bryan can help, if not, feel free to hit me up!

Actually, I didn't get much done this week, it's been a tough week, I had to put my crippled German Shepherd down, it was sad, but time well spent with her.
I meant to send this earlier but got busy - apologies. Mike, I'm so sorry to hear about your dog - it is never easy to say goodbye to these dear animals we share our lives with - it is the price we pay for allowing them into our lives. Even though it can be incredibly difficult, the joy they bring to life is worth every penny of the pain, IMO.

The bottom line here is the MBS stick / Fitzstick is the best stick available. I have yet to read a post where someone is unhappy with this product. Yes you can opt for a few different solutions but Mikes production is top notch, and he's put his heart and soul into its production.

This Fitzstick is as good as any OEM solution out there as I see it. I'm extremely happy that I can now either siphon the tranny fluid out thru the stick or buy an aftermarket pan to drop the fluid. I feel very confident that I can easily refill to the proper levels each time I drop the fluid.

Sorry Mike to hear about your dog, and its heart breaking, as one of my pouches has mouth cancer but it appears they got it all. I'll know for sure in a few days when we bring him in for his checkup

Haha my bad, I glanced at the bottom to make sure I got your name and saw Bryan in the text… was a long day and I was groggy. Fixed, and thanks :)

Soon, I need a test mule in my area, development is pretty much done on the Ranger, I just need to ramp up production.

The Bronco is definitely next.
When I lived in Florida I was close to UPR and VelossaTech. UPR had a relationship with the dealer I bought my truck at to develop their parts.

Thanks for dog sentiment, she was a terrible abuse case, we rescued her 7 years ago, she was the happiest dog everyday when she came here, so it's still a happy story even though she passed.
I've had Shepherds my whole life, they always have the skeleton fail, back, hips, typically not cancer like a lot of dogs.

As for the stick comments, thank you very much, I did work hard to get it to the level it is.

It's funny, with this group as customers, I knew I had better make it as good as I can, there are a lot technically savvy people here, and everyone is connected through here, so if it was great or crappy, everyone here would know right away.

As well as my own standards, I had to keep it off the firewall, it had to look stock and it had to be plug and play.

Now I have to work on streamlining the build process, they take a while to assemble, when I was at Honda it was all about efficiency, how to build race engines in a compressed schedule, you work on streamlining the work flow.
So, I used to have to put 2 collars and the bracket over each cut hose, I built a reel, a guide rail and other various things to cut the time in half, I load 10-15 sets on the hose and move it along as I cut and crimp, still needs some fine tuning, but I knocked out 30 of them yesterday, it's now so much faster and less finger pokes from the cut braid

I should try that, I worked at the local dealer for 13 years 23 years ago, but I still know a few people, unfortunately they are a Autonation store now, they are not very flexible beyond their book on "how to (poorly) run a dealership" no joke, they showed up in 97 with that book, they proceeded to run it into the ground, we went from selling 1200 cars to 250, way to go "one price" but I will stop in and see if Dennis is still the GM, or if the GM is flexible.
I do have neat clean way to form the initial shape on the vehicle.

Wish my tools were that organized ?. I usually have to look through multiple boxes; then go buy it again because I was unable to find it until I don't need it or not looking for it ?.

Sorry for your loss. I understand how you feel. Lost 2 dachshunds last year myself. Shadow (7 1/2 YO) to cancer ? and Teddy Bear (15 1/2 YO) just because it was his time ?. It's never easy. Just need to remember the joy she gave you and you her.

Have 2 now ? (Scooter (11 1/2 YO) & Archie (1 YO)). Ended up getting a puppy to keep the older one company as he wouldn't do well by himself. Always had company when I wasn't there and he hates loud noises. Always fun on the 4th and New Years Eve ?.

Thanks again for everything you do to keep us moving ?.

I check this page everyday, sometimes twice or more, hoping to see a PM notification. ? I know it’s worth the wait for the quality and accuracy that has been designed and implemented into these dipsticks. I pray you don’t lose motivation or interest in making these sticks. For those of us that do all our own maintenance, this is a must have.

I haven’t joined a forum in decades because it seems everyone moved to social media. This dipstick is the one and only reason I joined. It’s inspiring to see someone put so much time and effort into the R&D of a perfect solution to a problem literally every 5th Gen Ranger has.

Thanks again Mike for your hard work and my sincerest condolences for your loss. We had to say goodbye to two pups last year and the family was gutted. You’re right about adopting a new pup. It’s amazing how much they help to ease that pain of loss.

The problem with USPS is the tracking goes dead sometimes, it shows it stuck somewhere not moving for days, then it gets delivered.

I will say, the packages show up less damaged.
