Yeah as long as it was still wet you probably didn't hurt anything. Saw a lady in a Silverado the other day rolling around in a dry parking lot in 4h... I could hear everything binding and it was just killing me even tho I have zero love for chevy's
I remember I was stationed in Georgia and this dude had a brand new Tacoma and it was bone dry out and he had it it in 4wd and it sounded horrible. He had no idea about the binding. I don't blame him I guess he had never had a truck he told me. I told him dude go read the owners manual and do not put this thing in 4wd unless you actually need it.

Apparently you are very unaware on how Toyota Tacoma drivers always need to be in four-wheel drive in order to attempt to pass any Threatening Ford Rangers of any sorts out there!!

This is actually m 1st truck I've had previous SUVs that were just AWD. Never going back to an SUV.
