Haven't received it yet in the mail.........but, the blower motor on my '22 XLT has been making some grumbling sounds......unplugged it and removed the 3 screws and made sure nothing in the cage. Nope.....clean! Called the dealer.......can't look at the XLT for 3 weeks and if the blower motor needs replaced they can't order one as theyre not available. Went online.....found a NIB Motorcraft in Texas.............Dealership quoted me $179..............got this one for $53 and free ship. Works for me!

I was close to hitting the Buy on my Amazon order for the left and right Swing Cases and I thought maybe I should check the ford accessories website. Was shocked that the Swing Case Amazon price was $239.99 and the Ford Accessories price was $229.00. I'm a prime member so shipping would have been free but the Ford price for shipping was $18.00. So all in, the price was almost identical. I had 41,000 ford points from when I bought my truck and with those I got both boxes to my door for $280. Will be too cold for me to install this weekend. Next weekend looks alot warmer. My ranger projects are getting backed up. Redarc brake controller, grill lights, and now these tool boxes.

Right now I have 3 bags with stuff in them stuck in the backseat. One bag for ratchet and bungie straps. A recovery bag that has bubba rope and soft shackels and another bag that has a portable NOCO jump pack and jumper cables. Will be glad to get them into the tool boxes. Need to add a few things like fire extinguisher, first aid kit, foldable shovel, tools, etc. I guess I'll have to see how much room i have left and prioritize.

Several goodies over the weekend. =)

The first is my never-ending quest to give Soupie's engine cover mice their best life. I'd been using peppermint oil and thought they might like a change. So peppermint and cinnamon oil rodent spray! Got some extra cinnamon oil to fortify the spray and, just to spice it up a bit, some cayenne extract to add to it! Yum, look out Cinco de Mayo! =p

Then a nifty zoomable monocular from Brunton to keep in the glove box (better to scout the countryside looking for things to bring to the dump).

And, finally, something several of you will recognize - hammerloks! Got 3/4" ones so that standard rubber isolators would fit on one side.

Bezo's 465' yacht won't pay for itself!

cayenne might not get rid of mice but might as well only attract the fastest!

@subquark - I know for certain I've made one cheeky comment about rodent repellent directed toward you in 2023. Seriously, how many mice are left in New Hampshire?
More cheeky comments please! =D

There are plenty with fresh breath around here! And they still like to nibble my battery blanket. =(

Hmm ... maybe the winter's too harsh and I need to get them little blankets for under that engine cover? Thanks Adam (off to Amazon to find little blankets). =p

no stinkin' mice for Soupie!

Update: My NIB blower motor is in the possession of USPS last thursday. It's still sitting in Houston! Evidently, the temps go low enuf and Houston shuts down! USPS efficiency!

Damn this forum! Actually, I love hanging out here just didn't know it would cost me so much to participate. Suppose to be warmer into the high thirties this weekend so hopefully I can get caught up on installs. I hope my next post will be in the what did you do to your ranger.
