Was at the dealer today looking at an F150 to replace my Ranger. 2019, Lariat, 501A, bedliner, bed cover, running boards, the works. 40,000 miles on it. They offered $25k for it which seems way low to me. Anything comparable for sale around here starts at $32k, so I was expecting at least $28k. Not like there's a overabundance of new rangers sitting on lots right now either, so I can't imagine they would have trouble selling it. Guess I'm in the ranger till the CDF bushing gives up.

Anyone else have recent trade in values to compare?

In July I traded in my 2019 XLT 4x4 with the package with blind spot monitoring an lane assist. I had 46K on it with a hard tonnau cover an I got $25k. I bought it in Dec 2019 as a left over an bought it for $27K. This was just as the interest rates were climbing so maybe the higher rates are hurting used car values.

The Ford dealer near me is advertising $10k off new F150’s, so you may still be able to work a reasonable deal.

Also seems low. I get they have to make a few $ profit, but you'd never find a used one for sale for that kind of money.
Agreed. I wasn't very interested in selling it but if I was offered 25k-26k I think I'd take it.

Carmax is offering $28.6k for my ‘21 XLT with 22k miles. That’s down $3k in about two months. I’m hoping for $28-30 when I trade it in the next 2-3 months.

Whether it's a bit low is typical for the dealers first offer. It doesn't mean it's the final offer if you don't come back with a counter.

Dealer told me 25k currently for my ranger but they'd give me maybe 26 or 26.5 if I fix the code popping up, I got a 19 lariat 43k miles. They also told me that's about it they wouldn't really budge on it when I tried showing them others online going for more with more miles and lower trims.
And that they would list it for 32k

That's just 'cause yours has a new transmission...:sunglasses:

And yeah, values have dropped recently.

They didn't offer a bad deal, 5k in incentives for a lease, and x plan pricing on an F150 XLT. But my payment would be the same leasing as paying for the ranger so it's not making financial sense for me right now.

I traded in my 22 Tremor with 12,xxx miles in October for $38,500. The dealer turned around and listed the truck for $43,891.

i also went with a F150. Most places within a short drive had 10k off MSRP and full lots.
