Would there be any reason to not drive it in this state with that code popping up? There's no cel, no other messages when you hook it up to a code reader that pops up. Picked it up today and it drives fine just have to switch things I set (go back to Sirius and switch it over to dark mode).

So you think it is the pcm ? But from what you're saying it could be either on the pcm or bcm and they sre just taking a shot replacing one of them and hope that it fixes it as there's no way to really know 100% if thats the cause of it

I wonder if I use my ford performance tuner to do the same thing, change the tire size in there and change it back to see if that fixes it if thats the same as the forscan thing too. Just worries me to drop the 1k into it if they aren't sure if it will fix it or not

So heard back from the dealer they are going to find our anout doing a "PCM relearn vehicle application via FDRS" he just doesn't know the cost or how long it takes or anything so he said he'll get back to me and supposedly this will fix the data mismatch between then pcm and bcm

Nope never did anything with forscan on my truck at all. They said something about it looked like the code popped up about a month ago, thay was before i flashed it back to stock tune. As far as I know the p106a was the only code they said popped up not sure if there's anyway it wouldn't show...

I did repalce the Hankooks cause they started cupping at 25k replaced them with the same size wildpeaks though so I didn't have to change tire size.

I hope so trucks been there over a week now. From the sounds of it thats the only code that's showing up, they already did the pcm flash that didn't work so there's not much else they can try without replacing it.

Was told its the p160a code, and that the wiring was all checked and it's all good. They reset the code and it just comes back. Pcm is shot maybe?
