@Fitzmotor If you are still sending the updated sticks out to early purchasers, sign me up. I have zero complaints on the first one, but my eyesight isn't getting any better as I get older! :) Just let me know where to pay!

I don't expect the replacement order (first batch replacements) for a couple/few weeks yet, the few I sent out are from the current batch.

Then I have to show everyone how to measure them for me. I'll set the length, re-serial number them, ship them out.

You will find that when you get under the truck with that foot long wrench you will want to cut it in half, difficult to use in a tight spot.

Through development I used a shorty wrench, I kinda figured most people would use a adjustable one, who has a shorty 1-1/16" in the box.

wow that sounds funky

One of the things I got in the feedback was nobody had a 1-1/16" wrench, but everybody has a 15/16" so I found a supplier who has multiple choices in wrenching sizes, 15/16" was the smallest with still a large enough sealing area.
I actually prefer the larger diameter, more surface contact area. But then I'm a known black sheep!
That is a large socket, but I own those larger sizes. Axles, diffs, crank vibration dampers, tractors, etc... Don't use them a lot, but when you need one you need one!

Easy way...use this...

and little help from this...

from under the truck looking up...hold open end against cap with right hand to avoid slipping off and marring aluminum...with hammer in left hand, tap closed wrench end clockwise to loosen...3 taps...caps loosened...

Then there's the hard way...

Very happy to say that stick #64 (I think) arrived today. Got to say, it looks very well packaged and professional Mike. Fantastic job and totally worth the wait!

Now I just need time for installation and put the all important MBS logo on the back glass.

Geez, I have 1 1/16” and so does everyone with an anode rod in a Suburban RV water heater. I’m sure I have 15/16”, but I’ll have to look for that one. I’ll install it as soon as I can get it. I tow a lot.

I've seen more than one wrench set that frustratingly lacked a 15/16 wrench. Glad that is less common than I assumed. Or that people made sure to fill out the set.

I saw that but didnt see above photos before I posted So I didn't want to assume that if they say it opens to one inch that There's enough play there that'll get you that 1 1/16 .
