Where do you all get OEM wiper inserts to replace your worn ones, ie just the silicon insert part?
This is an example of the OEM wiper+insert, but i'm only looking to replace the insert.
Does any silicon insert of the right length work, or only motorcraft ones?

I’m sure any dealer can get you replacement blades, I would have to check the sizes, they are different lengths.
Now this my first new vehicle, all my previous vehicles I just bought from auto parts stores, I will say that every brand I used sucked and did not last, my OEMs have been on 15 months and still function as new. So for me when’s its time - it will be OEM, for aftermarket brands I would have already had to replace them.
But to answer your question, any aftermarket will work as they are universal and have (if needed) adaptors included. But so far in my opinion OEM is far superior quality.

I don't know about anyone else, but the factory wipers that came on my truck were garbage. They made it about a month before I threw them in the trash and replaced them with Bosch Icons.

Not over joyed with mine either. Not the worst I've ever had but far from the best.

I replaced mine with the Bosch ones and they did not last a year, dry and squeaky across the glass, but I do live in the desert .

Another vote for Bosch Icons.

But, Rock Auto is your best bet for OEM.
Rockauto is the best bet for pretty much ANY wiper blades, IMO - they will most likely be at least half what you'd spend at the auto parts store, AFTER including shipping. I buy a couple sets at a time for each of our cars which helps reduce the shipping costs per blade. Wiper blades have to be a hugely lucrative thing for parts stores.

As far as the inserts go- I didn't think you could actually buy inserts any longer, just the whole blade?

And I've been pretty happy with the OEM blades - I'm on my third set in 4 1/2 years and they still do a great job - but I've also been happy with Bosch Icons for other vehicles.

Replacing inserts on wiper blades these days usually ends up in damaging or straight up breaking the assembly.

But if you insist, search amazon or ebay for the correct thickness and style of the insert. I can't help you there as I've had aftermarket blades since.

I think refillable wiper blades were abandoned many years ago.The photo in your link is the entire blade not just an insert.

honestly, (my experience) if you buy the Bosch evolution aftermarket blades they are better than factory(which by the way is a bosch blade just not the highest quality) but still a great blade. I’ve had my evolution blades for 15 months now and the tag that says it’s time to replace has been showing for 3 months now and blades still work like new. I know they are pricey but well worth it IMO.
