What did you do to your Ranger today?

The hoods that use a prop rod rest quite a bit lower than the ones that have hood struts.
Yours being a 2019 I'm sure you have plenty of room under the hood.


I can't work under the hood at the corners without bumping the corners with my head least once.

OK now I understand what the picture is. Without a little reference as to what you were showing, you post was confusing. Yes those hood corners will leave a mark.

sadly its still the same as the picture at the moment. been a long week. my c clamp to test before actually mounting can be seen on the passenger side. the bar fits under the garage door fine. the bar is not as tall as the factory antenna. the spot lights clearing may be another bag of cats

So I got the Brake Controller all installed came out good. Next time I tow my tractor I can test it.

I through bolted the controller and then tie strapped it in place just for a secondary retention.

Are they prone to escaping if you don't secure them well enough??

Did a 5 tire rotation, changed the oil (trying Pennzoil Platinum. Have been using Mobil 1) and filter, and gave it a quick wash.

Winter wash and seal. Finally got to use that Graphene kit. I just had to buy a new sprayer for the bottle. Then took the truck to a car meet this evening.

i put the spot lights on the 5g roll bar. it is a very tight fit in my garage. less than an inch of clearance between the lights and the garage. pic shows. moved the side lights up high while i was i at it.

Does it look like that on both sides??? Or is was it made for a right hand drive Ranger & it is upside down?

Started putting in the Brake Controller. I will finish it in the morning.

Funny I got a zip bag of parts that I pulled off the truck already. Good on Ford marking the wires with blue tape to make it easy to find them.

When I did mine it took my 20 min to find them. The wires were tapped up high

and poof... that didnt last long. everything worked last night. i got out this morning to fine tune the aiming of the lights, hit the switch they come on and then off in two seconds. I assume fuse or relay. checked both and both are fine. i hit the button for another set of lights and it did the same thing! on then out... so i get the multi meter and a few tools and check all the fuses and all the relays. all of them fine. im totally confused what changed over night. all worked fine last night. today only one set works correctly.

did i toast the switch box ?

They did not have them wrapped in blue tape? Mine were very easy to find only because they wrapped them in blue tape.
