Some lobbyist representing someone or company, the actual politicians wouldn’t think of this unless they were prodded and were getting something in return, that’s how they leave richer then when they arrived there.Who really wanted this? We know our elected officials don't read those four thousand pages bills let alone write them.
You get what you vote for an our country has been voting for crazies
Fixed it ?WeThey keep voting these idiots in and we will have no rights remaining. But we will feel good because will know everyones pronouns.

Once it's in cops/feds will put a backdoor in. They have already done it (and used it) with Onstar and Telsa. This video is a perfect example of fear-mongering at its finest. Several of the claims this lady makes are straight-up false. "This mandates equipment to listen to in-car noises and conversations" - no, the bill says nothing of the sort. It also never mentions "kill-switchs to automatically turn off your car" as she claims.
For anyone who wants to read the actual bill, you can check it out here:
https://www.congress.gov/117/plaws/publ58/PLAW-117publ58.pdf (search for 24220 to find the specific subsection that deals with this).
One specific item of note: nowhere in this report did she mention all the provisions in the bill about how this can be kicked down the road for *more than 10 years* if manufacturers can make a case why it's too hard to do.
Lotta hot air and scary noises, but nothing really to see here, imho.
