that thing is pretty nifty! id like to see one in brushed aluminum and instead of the full spelling on the front grill just DMC. just to give it a couple more retro but future touches. It looks like the doors are just as in the way as they were before lol. they look cool and if one has a delorean the gull doors are a must just not practical for anyone over 5 foot 6.

I read somewhere that someone in Texas bought up all the New old stock of unfinished Delorean's and were going to build them up for sale. The biggest problem they run into is meeting safety and emission standards.

That would make sense. Safety and emissions have come along way in 40 years.

They could maybe solve that by selling it as a kit.

That being said, the doors and the body are what made the original. Any revival should include them. Even of it was just a raw stainless wrap.
