What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

We are home from Michigan tending to our handicapped daughter for two weeks... Ranger sat for the entire time biding its time while the Nautilus sat at a hotel near the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.

So we determined the necessary Beer, eggs & bacon were needed so fired up the read and waiting Ranger for a brief trip to Safeway a mile and half away... The Nautilus was quite tired having to fight with I10 eastbound traffic the majority of the trip from Phoenix to Green Valley...

Drove the Ranger up into Cherokee National Forest. Scouted a new creek to camp / fish this week. Buddy coming up from Florida. More hiking than fishing, but did get a couple small rainbows in few minutes of fishing I got in. GORGEOUS area. Fall is amazing in the Smokies.

We have learned from our Flagstaff owners that the north bound I17 backups of 30 miles is due to the Phoenix folks going North for a color tour.

About time I fold my tent here...I have little to contribute these forums anymore and likely best to fold up my tent and move on. Tito is buried under out door pillows we left behind in Flagstaff, so no Tito pix...ZZZZZZZ

Tito is down to the count until next April and as such it may be that I just pull the plug on every day time spent reading every post... I would be available via the Mods emailing but not an active participant. 6G is here and I am not moving on to 6G...

Bummer Mark - if you don’t work, you don’t eat.

The Province of Ontario recently did away with the annual registration fee and the stickers. Owners still have to ”renew” their registration online every year, but at no cost. We don’t get a new card, a sticker for our existing cards, or a licence plate sticker mailed to us anymore. LEOs would know if we’re current or not when they run our plate.

I’m sure police in neighbouring provinces understand all this but if I was driving in the U.S., I wonder if the old expired 2022 sticker on my plate would cause a bit of a delay if I was ever pulled over. ?

Phil your input ,stories and insider information has been one of the best things about this forum. I am sad to see you go, but I understand. Like you and I, this forum is getting a little long in the tooth.? I don't check in near as often as I once did.

Thanks for the back stories, many of them that I can relate to as a fellow retired Ford employee. I wish you, Margie and Tito all the best. I hope you continue to enjoy your retirement, and be healthy and happy.
