Am I missing it, or is there no cabin temp reading?

Been confused about this for a while. There are a total of 4 temperatures listed on sync 3 and the dash, but I think none of those are the actual internal cabin temperature.
Dash: climate setpoint
Sync3: 2x climate setpoint (driver/passenger), 1x outside air temp

Am I missing it, or there is truly no cabin temp reading, and duplicates of others? :D

If there isn't, at first I though that maybe that's because there are 2 (dual) climate zones, so it'd be confusing what to show -- but, there IS global temperature sensor in the cabin that's used for the recirculation function, so I don't think that's it.

Also, i also thought maybe cabin temp isn't shown, because Ford thinks only the desired temp is what matters. But then, why is the outside temp shown?

Overall really odd =)

Correct - only can view desired temp both sides and outside temp.
The Temp / Humidity Sensor is the feedback for the desired temperature it also controls the Recirculation Door for humidity control.

You know...I just had a nightmare about this last night and woke up in a pool of sweat, screaming, HOW COULD FORD DO THIS TO US !!!!!! Thinking about all the horrific things that could happen because of this omission.
Then I thought, "one of those little stick on thermometers will take care of this"....then went back to sleep !

One of the reasons I don't care about this is that a car has such a small greenhouse with such large windows on one half of that greenhouse that the temperature varies quite widely throughout the car based on where the sun is and if certain windows are tinted so any 'internal temp' would just be an inaccurate value. Or just the temperature of the air next to wherever the little sensor is.

I must be an anomaly
I set the temp to what feels right. whether i am hot or cold. doesn't matter what the number says.

You should see some of the stuff people bring up on ColoradoFans.com

No seriously, you would think it is some great conspiracy and personal affront when a someone's brand new first run generation vehicle has some problem like a loose fitting plastic cowl under the the hood.

You think the hollow door sound complaints here are something, hoo-boy their are some dramatic babies over there.

Same hear, never thought about the actual temp. I have never had a vehicle that had a cabin temp display. Even my Nest thermostat only displays the setpoint when you walk by it.

Well the funny part is the problems the new colorado are having, are rather pale compared to the 19-23 Rangers. The Rangers have all sorts of numerous problems ranging from vibrations, shudders, suspension lean, hvac doors, etc etc

But if you were to spend any time over there you would think having the roof pop temporarily when going through an automatic car wash from the jet engine blow dryers was some how the equivalent of an engine blowing up. The crying is un-real.

This place is leaps and bounds beyond that place, I refuse to leave.

Problem solved…

WOW...you could put one at each compass point around the interior and compare the temp difference between front and back, or side to side, or lf to rr, or rs to lf, or......
I'm just all a tingle with the possibilities....

Another design defect. Exactly why we should all get rid of the Rangers and buy some other brand despite the fact they don't tell you the internal temp either. How could Ford be so inconsiderate!?
Knowing the internal temp would definitely be life changing.
