I'm so glad I posted this question ?:p

But yeah, to those who suggested a thermometer, I had also gotten one a few weeks back, but it seemed hard to believe that there would truly be no indoor temp we can see.

Why do you find it hard to believe? In my 50+ years of vehicle ownership I have never had one with an inside temperature display. If you think about it, it will never be close to correct because the temperature variation throughout the cabin. All it would accomplish is customer complaints because it is not reading the same as the setpoint.

Hey, hey. Us Ford Ranger owners don't have enough to complain about yet. We need more meaningless gadgets and geegaws to bash Ford about. I'm sure there would be enough problems for at least 20 different threads about it.

Agree....I'm still waiting for Ford to install a barometric pressure gauge, a gauge that can determine whether it's partly cloudy or partly sunny, a rain gauge, and a roof mounted bird poop detector.

Great idea! We can all stare at those gauges to see what the weather is like outside the cab of the Ranger! That way we'd know if we need sunglasses or an umbrella!

I am mildly surprised that the Ranger at least if not other Fords doesn't have the snowflake frost warning indicator. Have one on my motorcycle and had one in my semi. The one in the semi measured dew point vs ambient temperature. Sometimes it wouldn't come on until 30ºF/-1ºC, other times 34ºF/1ºC.
I have had an ice on road warning in every vehicle i ever drove. The tire noise suddenly decreasing without other changes and it's coolish outside...

98.6° seems like a nice temperature too.
Kelvin or celcius?

I thought the ice warning was when your rig started sliding sideways and a certain bodily part started to pucker up....

Correct - only can view desired temp both sides and outside temp.
The Temp / Humidity Sensor is the feedback for the desired temperature it also controls the Recirculation Door for humidity control.
I did not realize (or even really thought about it) that there is a humidity sensor on the Ranger.

Sometimes I just can't help it...some threads tend get out of hand and go off the rails, some are silly, some are "what the he-l".
I read one today that I made the mistake of reading while drinking my coffee....laughed so hard I snorted coffee !!!
But, I can be serious, like with this thread....
Internal temps....for info I always carry an anal thermometer with me !!!

Mine came with cabin temp sensor, and it's even remotely readable.

And if you press the button it makes the cabin temperature go to what ever you set before you left the car.

That is the second warning. You missed the first one.
