LOL....Probably not very good! It wouldn't surprise me if the gas is start to get old. Last time I filled it up was in September 2022. I've only put 80 miles on it since then. I'll be adding another 32 miles on Oct.16th.

I had to turn it around so I can put the new dip stick in sometime in the next few days.

Your oil has probably turned into a lump of grease !!!

I installed the new dual row Auxbeam lightbar on the top of the ARB bumper. There is a DRL option, shown here. Still deciding if I’ll leave the DRL on. My wife drove towards me and it’s not actually any brighter than the rest of the lights.

the 4g got spoiled today, mobil 1 full synthetic and mobil 1 filter. the nicest oil change its ever had. normally i get the 4g whatever meets the specs and is on sale. since it has fancy oil in it now i figured i may as well wash it and get the junk out of the passenger side floor. 5g got some new rigid hyperspots. i didnt really need need them. but - want vs. need dont matter when it comes to wasting money on the rangers around here.

Drove from Jekyll island Georgia to scot Louisiana. And got a room got the night. Noticed a couple thing this time around. First - I get better MPG if I don’t use the cruise control. I noticed that when I took over my average ticked up a point or two. Will be interesting to see what Fuelly tells me when I fill up in the morning.

second sync is more hard of hearing than I am. I tell it to play certain albums or artists and it can’t find them. This has started on this trip and it’s on stuuf that I listen to on the regular.

and the kid on the front desk is about as worthless as tits on a boar. Probably why he is on nights.

Took my truck in for oil change and a tire rotation. Well not what I did to my truck but what one of the local trash pandas did… lol not sure why Ford though having covers out of foam was a good idea… but thankfully no damage to any wires or hoses. Been ordering some parts for my truck so I guess I’ll be adding a cover to that list lol and I’ll be checking under my hood a lot more often.

Yes I agree I got completely lucky that they didn’t chew through any wires! I’m hoping I can get these little monsters gone they been a problem for the last few weeks just didn’t expect something like this.

Also, now that you have essentially no engine cover, do you really notice a difference in engine noise?

That is the original engine cover that the truck had when I bought it didn’t even know that they redesigned it so far no change in noise levels I drove it in to work this morning and will probably continue to do so till I can get these raccoons felt with lol

For some reason I thought the engine covers were just pieces of molded plastic . . .

They look much more, ummm thicker, than I thought they would be . . . . that's not a good or bad thing . . .
