I've only found a couple quick videos that didn't seem to be a direct one-to-one. Either the program looks like an older version or I got different prompts than the videos indicated. That's not to say it didn't all seem like straight forward prompts to work through, but I didn't get far enough to be able to save anything before it froze. You need to individually open and save each of the asbuilts to a file on your hard drive. The log file is just a record of what you did, not the actual adbuilt. Look at some of the Forscan videos on-line to see the e act steps to do it.
By the way what kind of OBD2 adaptor are you using? Some of the cheap ones are clones and can be flaky. I use an ODBLink adaptor and have never had issues.
I'm using the Vgate vLinker FS here. It was one of the ones linked on the forscan site when i got it... albeit the cheaper offering since i didnt see myself messing with this stuff beyond a few creature comfort tweaks... if at all now.
