Changed the oil and rotated the tires.
Valvoline Synthetic and Motorcraft filter. Chevron Techron fuel system cleaner in the gas. Turned 60,000 so I did the air filter and cabin air filter a couple days ago.
First time in the 2.5 years I've owned it that I didn't spill any oil from the filter on the ground.

Johnny O's system for rotating tires using two small floor jacks:
Jack up left side of truck. Swap wheels front and rear. Tighten LF wheel, snug LR wheel with 3 lug nuts. We'll get back to that.
Jack up right side of truck, remove wheels. Put RR wheel on RF and tighten, let down jack.
Move RF jack to LR and jack it up.
Remove LR wheel and put on RR.
Put RF wheel on LR.

I did a lift, shocks and larger tires about a month ago. (285/70 R17)
Today dropped in the K&N high flow air filter and did the Gear Head tune. The tune automatically shows what gear you are in when you shift into sport mode (automatic) Normally it would only display which gear you are in when you did the +/- manual sport mode! I love the tune! More power better gas mileage too!

It's easier than it sounds.
The objective is to move the rear tires straight to the front and cross the front tires to the rear.
Yeah I figured it out. The wording threw me off.

Anyway, I have a 2WD so I think I'll do the ole' back to front per side route. I also don't care about keeping the crappy Bridgestones forever.

Loosened my Icon UCA long bolts and shot greased into the zerks til it was oozing out the bushings, re-torqued (what a PITA) and then greased the Delta Joints. Cleaned up the mess.

Removed my awe exhaust tips so they don't get whacked and cracked off roading... again. Put the crawler tip on.

Contemplating firing up forscan for the first time later tonight or tomorrow. Definitely a list of items I'd like to address.

Before you make any changes backup your as built files, so you can reload them if you ever need/want to go back to stock.

Good timing... I just read this as I'm sitting in my truck firing up my laptop. Thanks for the reminder.

Updating my version of Forscan and then leaping into new territory (for me at least)

Do I just click "save log" on connection?

Epic fail! Connected to vehicle, promted firmware update of obdII adapter, started reading modules and then forscan froze!? Nothing happened after seeing the PCM for 5 minutes, nothing updated, no new logs, couldnt disconnect, couldn't do anything.

I had to force shutdown forscan in windows. Now I'm leary to go try again.

Seriously! It seems harmless that it happened while reading the vehicle, but I'd be more concerned with it happening while trying to intiate changes to the modules.

You need to individually open and save each of the asbuilts to a file on your hard drive. The log file is just a record of what you did, not the actual adbuilt. Look at some of the Forscan videos on-line to see the e act steps to do it.

By the way what kind of OBD2 adaptor are you using? Some of the cheap ones are clones and can be flaky. I use an ODBLink adaptor and have never had issues.
