Thanks for the link, I have the craptacular @RoughCountry ones. If I wasn't so lazy, I'd return them. Four times reaching out to them and crickets ...

Edit: those look nice, are they solid steel? Or hollow?
They are solid steel material but shaped like U on the back end and solid on the front. Here is a better picture of them.

Made a makeshift paint booth and sprayed Raptor liner in the bed. Overall simple process. The biggest pain in the ass is sanding down the bed.

Installed this thing. More power? No idea with the tune. I swear it is quieter at WOT... but it looks neat. I figure it might help when combined with the AEM filter in the box.

Excellent packing @SpaceGhost. USPS used it as a rugby ball or bowling ball. Box was totally shitmixed but the plastic was undamaged with how it was packed.

Took advantage of some Labor Day sales and finally made my Truxedo CS rack useful. Added a Yakima LockNLoad B platform (60x54 inch) and a Yakima Major Shady 270 degree awning. This leaves me with a tonneau cover that I can open up under the towers/rails, and plenty of rack space too. Installation was easy peasy stock with the exception of the t-slot nuts for the awning that I had to grind down to fit the truxedo slots. The platform is attached with the LockNLoad crossbar clamps, but they needed the plastic on the u-bolts removed to work. So far, very happy!

"Looks Neat" is a guaranteed 1/2 to 3/4 "butt dyno" horsepower increase !!!

Well not just today or yesterday but the last couple few weeks and right around the 60k mark: new pads rotors and flush (dealer), new tires, oil change full synthetic of course, cleaned and re-oiled my AFE filter, and cleaned the MAF.

Washed her up real good after completing a 5 month project with a ~150 mile daily commute in this truck. Giving it some rest now and driving my other rig.

Also took my spare down to clean it up and restore it. I think I’ll leave it off for a while; no sense in having it if the truck is staying local and I like the idea of a little weight reduction. I added to my other spare in the garage that was never used in that truck, either.

Just curious, how did you clean the MAF?
The Ranger doesn't have one. It has a MAP sensor.

Ha well you got me there. Never knew the difference; a quick google and now I do. I hit it with some CRC mass air sensor cleaner.

edit: caught the sarcasm as well

@Dr3wDrop Slightly time consuming just stitching. Maybe 3ish hours being generous. Very easy and straightforward though. I removed the wheel to sit in the back yard with my dog and do it. I think it makes it way easier. Can be done on the vehicle though.
