If you can’t fix it, ask Steve (@Grumpaw ) how easy it was to remove - piece of cake. I think it looks great without it. I’d remove mine but it wouldn’t really make a difference on my black truck.

see i must be different from all of you since to me that looks not great... but thats prob because my tacoma was like that and i had put a gloss black vinyl in that spot to blend it in for a period of time.

i prefer it all blended in but that me

OK, a little Googling later, I found a good, cheap cleaning solution. The humble pencil eraser

Fingerprints? I gave up trying to stay on top of those a long time ago. ? But I get what you mean. That vinyl is a bit more forgiving, that’s for sure.

Agreed on the fingerprints. My wife is almost as particular as me except for closing the doors. She can't seem to close them without fingerprints. I thought I had finally taught her how to close using the door handles but now she uses her palm with fingers spread out on the door.
