that’s fair. Just an option. When I took mine out, I didn’t have an option for quick disconnects. But now… I don’t have the bar anymore.ya would probably be fine. I wonder if over time would put extra stress on the other suspension components? I bought a jeep wrangler once and the sway bar connects were broken and it was really noticeably soft / floaty on road until I replaced it. From most feedback my guess is it's a viable option if you are being budget conscience and mainly piece of mind if you get the quick disconnects.
Thanks
yes, the option I suggested was based off a YouTube guy with large lift on a blue ranger so would need to be tried and may not work. Other than that I haven't seen any other options until the other link added previous. If there is an option it is a rare one. I watched a video of one guy running with his disconnected and it made a difference Offroad, you could see he didn't lift tires half as often as the other rangers. Your option may be the simplest and possibly the main one available! When I get there I will weigh things and post what I decide. Have you noticed a big difference Offroad? did you run yours before and after?that’s fair. Just an option. When I took mine out, I didn’t have an option for quick disconnects. I noticed a big difference Offroad. I take cornersslower on road, but I’ve never felt sketched out.yes, the option I suggested was based off a YouTube guy with large lift on a blue ranger so would need to be tried and may not work. Great, thanks for the feedback. I will be approaching this soon, glad to know it really helps! Do you have aftermarket UCA's, I imagine they would contribute to travel as well? My next step this May is Rock sliders.I noticed a big difference Offroad. I take cornersslower on road, but I’ve never felt sketched out.

Just came across this thread don’t think Apex auto lynx will work with our rangers. I emailed them earlier this year and asked if they would work with gen5 rangers they sent this picture saying they will bend.I am thinking of these https://www.apexdesignsusa.com/products/autolynx-sway-bar-disconnect
Apparently they will fit the ranger
Thanks for the info, truck is looks good! outlandish overlander doesn’t ship to Canada, booooo,. Can you send me some measurements, I may have to look into making some.Just came across this thread don’t think Apex auto lynx will work with our rangers. As for suspension on my truck I went with Bilstein 5100 all around paired with Eibach springs up front. 5100’s set at stock setting up front get 3” lift with springs. Still get full stroke from shock set up like this. Ride isn’t as stiff this way and truck is still level. I’m running 285/70/17 icon wheels 0 offset. There is some rubbing when flexed out. I also have fabtech crash bars but might have to remove egg-crate under wheel well to eliminate all rubbing. I have icon billet UCA with icon leafs in the rear. Maybe should have went with deavers icons squeak a little too much. But after I installed RTT they did get a little quieter.

Probably going to upgrade shocks in a year or so. I’ve only put about 7-8k miles on this set up so far but absolutely no complaints this was just cheaper than buying a full Coilover set up. Think I spent 600-700 on springs and shocks (all 4). I did have to take springs and shocks to a shop to get them pressed on though. That was another 30$
