Glad you're alright Todd. Really and truly what is going on with these Ranger rear-end accidents? Maybe the Sonata driver thought you were a cloud because your bed is so high?

Hope the repair shop does good work and gets you on the road quickly.

And, please. Give us an honest unbiased opinion of that Nissan.

1. Its freaking ugly. Like two bagger ugly.
2. I like the bed with its lights and tiedown system. Sprayin style bedliners come standard on Nissan trucks I believe.
3. The interior is pretty nice. Not sure what trim level it is but its loaded and a Lariat equivelant package. It has some pretty nice features such as cooled seats, steering wheel heater, power sliding rear window and glass roof. I know you get these on a f150 but I have no desire for daily driving a full size truck. The Fender sound system is loud with prominate bass but I greatly prefer the B and O in my truck.
4. Terrible milage...averaging 15 on the same drive my lifted Ranger on 32s gets 22mpg driving conservatively.
5. Ride.....omg this thing is rough! To be fair this is rental and pretty sure its been abused probably offroad as its a pro4x. But man you f e e l e v e r y bump and it throws you around.
6. Bottom line I have owned 2 Frontiers which I really liked but no way I would buy this pos. Next Friday wont be here soon enough!

Is the turning radius as bad as the last generation Frontier?
That was what I really disliked on mine.

Just heard back from the Collision center. No structual damage. 7k in total repairs. The rear bumper and right tail light are 3700 just for parts. Should be ready next Friday.

In the meantime they gave me this as a rental...

Worse by allot
I had an extended cab frontier 2008 that had a less of a turning radius than my 2021 double cab. I have a small radius rounabout driveway and had to do three points with that but the ranger makes it. Longer wheelbase which means the rear tires follow inside more but that is a given. That is my experience.
