As they say, when you change your tires over from winter to summer tires and vice versa, you should re-torque your lug nuts at 50 miles....makes you wonder why this isnt a requirement or a strong suggestion to do with new vehicles....afterall, its no different of a process with the same possible result

How can we expect those poor Union employees to remember trivial things like lugnuts?

These guys are busy trying to make ends meet with their $75/hr compensation packages. Normal folks like us have no idea what it's like trying to manage in such poverty.

Corporate drone. Dilbert's world is alive & well.
Might be the fastest I have ever put a morning coffee down. Read this thread. Made a beeline for the garage. Just torqued all 4. None were loose.

Seriously Ford? WTF?

I am surprised this happened...There use to be a back up Multi spindle nut runner at both the passenger side and driver's side. Someone was trying to save a nickle and not have a back up????
This Michigan Assembly Plant is still getting low marks for assembly quality. This lays at the feet of the Plant Manager...

LOL, this is what they have the kid do at the garage. Sure, they're usually overtorqued but at least they don't fall off...

Maybe the person responsible for the lug nuts was out sick, and all the other union workers said "Not my job".
