I just got back from washing and shining up my Passat with 303. The Ranger had that treatment a few days back. Great day for it.

carzilla.ca has all the 303 you might need - it was cheaper than Amazon the last time I bought from them. Clean gasket install Red! I'm curious is this a known source of excess noise or do you believe it's unique to your truck? I'd like to know your troubleshooting method that led you to inside the mirror if that is the case. Only to help make myself a better troubleshooter - thanks!
The mirror? It's an uncommon source for wind noise on all vehicles, and given how ford handled all the seals I figured it's a likely suspect. I was able to quiet some noise by adding RTV along the upper window seal.
