Swapped the fluid in the front and rear differentials, the transfer case, changed the gasket/filter/fluid in the transmission, and the air filter.

I've been running the air filter for about 20k miles and it was absolutely filthy. I'm betting that's why my fuel economy has been dropping. This is a couple smacks on the ground.

The rear differential fluid was quite dark.

The transfer case fluid was... okay... but worth swapping out. I made a huge mess with the transfer case. It shot fluid much farther than I expected and missed the catch can. Luckily, I had this tray down. Most of it was caught by the tray.

The transmission fluid was dirty but stisll had a reddish hue, so... I'm glad I changed it out, but it probably wasn't necessary.




I have decided to stick to a 30k fluid swap for everything but engine oil.

Don't believe all the media hype. it's like anywhere else you go. There's bad areas amd good areas. Generally speaking people are very hospitable. I travel out there tons. Shit look at the race teams that travel to baja with multi million dollar equipment and vehicles with no issues, but I digress.

Welp I got the down pipe installed the exhaust I made modified now with vbands both after cat and before muffler so I can do tone changes rather quick if I feel like it. 3 inch exhaust off turbo all the way out.

first video is with muffler second is just resonator. total for my exhaust set up with used afe down pipe im at 467 usd.

that's also with 3 dollar o2 sensor spacer from temu stainless steel and just as a fyi if anyone is looking for thread pitch it's m18x1.5 npt

I let the Ranger sit in the driveway while the newly applied Krown spray did it’s runoff thing. It will sit there most of the week until it “drys” up. Then back to parking in the garage
