I installed the Ford Performance exhaust by Borla on my '21 Tremor. Haven't done a tune (yet), but love the dual black tips and the much better exhaust note!
How was it to install? I was looking at ordering that and installing it by myself. Doesn't seem like it would be too much of a hassle?

It's really easy. About 40 minutes with hand tools on the ground.

It was very easy. I didn't even need to jack it up.
Before installing I did use high temp black paint and painted the pipes from the muffler to the black chrome tips.

I disconnected the battery in preparation for the Prinsu rack tomorrow. Don't want the airbags deploying for some reason while I am drilling 8 holes in my roof. Sounds like I am going to have a gang of Ranger owners helping with the installation. All good dudes and all good with a wrench.

Gave it a quick lick and a promise! It's a balmy 44° out and my boss gave me the afternoon off.

I even got to use that undercarriage thing to get water in the transmission to rinse the road salt and beet juice off - it worked great!

Just a soap cannon with Mr. Pink and rinse, none of that frou-frou microfiber stuff.

before (look away @AzScorpion, you'll get that nervous twitch from your past Mass days)

after (streaking under the door handle still there, perfect for Graphene Detailer, but meh ...)

Eesh! I might get motivated, tomorrow and vacuum the interior, but all the Cheech hair probably keeps the interior warmer in winter! I did take these out and blast them.

the soap cannon makes me feel like a 10-year old and I looked like a wanker to passerby's =)

I even did Kate's (she'll probably do a rinseless wash tomorrow - her standards are much higher)

undercarriage action shots (hope the dealer doesn't void my warranty if they see this!) =p

Took the Ranger for a ride today after my wife saw the damn squirrel trying to nest in it again.
She saw him disappear under the front with a mouthful of leaves. She walked over and he took off.

He left some evidence behind on the drive. Checked under the hood and found some leaf crumbs scattered about but no big pile. Checked the airbox and he wasn't in there. Haven't checked under the cowl yet but know he can't get to the cabin filter anymore.
Little bastard must die.

I hope it goes smoothly for you. I puckered up tighter than a frog when I drilled into my topper for my Rhino Rack - I can’t imagine how I’d feel drilling into my truck. :D

Good luck with the install. Have one of your helpers take pics of the process if you can.

Not too bad. Took about an hour. I had already installed fuse taps for a switch panel so just tapped into those wires. Running the cables was pretty easy, only two sliced fingers during the whole process.
Did you pull down the headliner or run the rear camera cable along the floor?
