fish tape. upper fire wall on the driver side (usa model) is a small access hole. sort of look behind the brake stuff and under the wiper and you will see it. it has a plastic plug in place you can pop out or simply punch through. the inside cab position is up under dash behind brake and near the bundles of factory wire. its a pain in the ass to reach without a fish tape or coat hanger or something to get the wires through. once through its a great spot as it brings the wires in near the fuse panel in the cab, is close to the dash for a switch and under hood spot is near other factory wires in line to the battery.Installing Pods, and the AuxBeam switch today anyone have any tips on getting the wire through the firewall.

A dozen Trader Joes eggs? Well we know who's the rich one on here.?
There is a grommet under the carpet on the passenger's front floorboard. Much easier than the firewall, but you have to run the cable down and secure it under the firewall.Installing Pods, and the AuxBeam switch today anyone have any tips on getting the wire through the firewall.

im thinking im going to do that with my tax return on the 4g. i dont wanna spend the money on it but it is the main mode of rollin lol.I did a full 100+K self service with OEM Motorcraft...changed oil/filter, installed new engine and cabin filter, changed front/rear diff oil, changed transfer case oil...
I did the rear diff oil change at 40K and it looked fresh then...at 101K, all the diff and transfer oil looked relatively fresh...light brown and translucent...there was the usual thin coating of "graphite" like metal deposits on the magnets...nothing unusual so looks like the gears are wearing well...
