Cades Cove is such a beautiful place, and a beautiful truck accents the cove nicely. The family and I try to get out there a few times a year, especially in the fall when the leaves are changing colors, so it helps that we live fairly close to it.

@WolfgangVTS @Copperhead_Tremor have either of you driven Parsons Branch from Cades Cove over to 129? Looks like a beautiful road.

Parsons branch over to the Tail of the Dragon…nope, I’ve never taken that route. But if it’s like the rest of the area then it should be absolutely stunning. I’m actually waiting for the weather to warm up a bit, and dry up a bit too (so much rain here in TN lately), and I’m going to get with the in-laws and take their Gladiator through the Cove with the top and doors off. That is the one feature of the Gladiator that I absolutely love, and Cades Cove is the perfect place to drive through like that. Pack a picnic lunch and make a day of it. There is a row of trees leading to the visitor’s center about halfway through the Cove that is perfect to sit under and have lunch.

I get my eggs at Traders Joe's but unfortunately not for 2.84 I put them in the Egg Cooker to boil and then back in the fridge until ready to eat and usually they go in a salad ? Yum!

fish tape. upper fire wall on the driver side (usa model) is a small access hole. sort of look behind the brake stuff and under the wiper and you will see it. it has a plastic plug in place you can pop out or simply punch through. the inside cab position is up under dash behind brake and near the bundles of factory wire. its a pain in the ass to reach without a fish tape or coat hanger or something to get the wires through. once through its a great spot as it brings the wires in near the fuse panel in the cab, is close to the dash for a switch and under hood spot is near other factory wires in line to the battery.
tried to show a pic that makes it easier to find. if your trucks a bright color it will look like a black spot. if your trucks black good luck lol.
