Hi Folks,

A bit of an update. Since my hitch cost close to $300, it is a desirable piece to steal. The solution was to install a locking hitch pin, but during my research, I found the common locking hitch pin has the lock axial with the length of the pin with a deep groove cut in the pin. Hitch thieves scoff at this as easy to defeat. They take a long pipe of larger diameter than the lock cylinder and snap off the lock with a healthy pull. That is where LetsGoAero design defeats the thief.
A bit pricey but worth it in my opinion....

Here is a video to explain this improvement

Best,
Phil
Nice, but the shank that goes into the receiver has to be hollow.
Unfortunately, most shanks that are rated for a WD hitch are solid steel so it wouldn't work.
Aside from that, it would be great for securing lite trailers and boat trailers. I have 2 lock pins like the last one pictured, and even if they broke it, I'd like to see how they would remove a 700 lb tongue weight travel trailer, that weighs 7000 lbs, and quickly hook it up to another truck....that would be something to see !!!

It's even worse when have employees. Your business liability insurance is based off payroll so they usually hit you for more come spring from the audit. Same with workers comp insurance. Then people wonder why you have to charge the rates you do?
WOW....is this a prelude to raising the price of Dampers to offset your tax increases ???

Hi Steve, the tube is piloted on the through shank so the assembly is not hollow as the tube slides on the shank.

best,
Phil

Got my Rci bed rack today, youngest son and I installed it. Then we put our diy solar pressurized shower reservoir on it (stoked it holds pressure and squirts).
Get the roof top tent in two more long weeks.

So Joshua, you’re saying you just made some great memories with your son and in a few weeks, you’ll be ready to make a whole bunch more? Is that right? :D

Make the most of it - before you know it, the Occupation listed on your ranger5g profile will be “Retired”. ;)

I had a fellow co-worker on duty some years back that would take a BANG energy drink (300mg caffeine) and shotgun it like a beer. Whole thing down in a few seconds.

He was already and athletic guy (hiked the entire Appalachian trail). Woe to the bad guy that tried to run from him those nights. He would chase them down like puma.

We also discovered that our electronic weapon racks in our vehicles will in fact hold an energy drink. lol

I definitely try to make the most of the hyphen I have. Getting my kids interested in outdoor activities, watching them love it is one of my greatest joys.

Yup, I just changed my profile this week! I retired on the first of January and, as I told my wife, every day feels like a Saturday ?

We used to kill the Bangs on shift and we jokingly called them Ripped Fuel from the HBO series Generation Kill. I'd kill a bang or too, and drink a large black coffee between midnight and 5 am just to get through the shift. Things got worse when one of the cops in the city jurisdiction called me one night and told me to meet him in a dark alley. I pull in and he pops the back of his Tahoe patrol vehicle and starts shoveling cases of Bang into my patrol car. Turns out his dad was a sales rep for the local distributor. ?
