Heated water for washing?

I feel like that's a thing someplace... They do use hot water for some detailing tasks... Wouldn't be to hard to use one of this propane powered water heaters in line with a hose bib to have hot/warm wash water...

We only get very warm water from the tap here during the summer months. With no frost our water lines aren't buried deep (IIRC only 18") so with the 112+ temps and the ground soaking up the heat it's like one giant heat island here. It really stinks when you're hot and sweaty from working and all you're looking forward to is a nice cold shower and there isn't any cold water. Plus being on slabs here the water lines run through the attic which heat it up even more!

Also our water heaters are in the garage and it's so hot in there I can turn mine off around late March up to late October. The water still comes out of the tap super hot when turned to the hot side.

I dunno, you may have a slight wicked pissah accent. Whenever you hypnotize me to buy more Ranger stuff, I always end up have a hankering for lobster or a Kelly's roast beef ... =p
lol One thing I do say that's a dead giveaway is wicked. I see your bank account is wicked low now David so you'd better stop buying stuff for a while. ??

This would be a dream for Kate! She goes out and does rinseless washes when it's 25° in our uninsulated garage! The entire house is uninsulated but there's no heat in the garage at all.

Funny thing is, since it's unfinished, I'll probably insulate the garage myself this summer (seems possible with my limited patience for these kinds of projects) and add some heat too! You know that happy wife thing ... =D

Me with the soap cannon, I didn't think it was that cold ...

Don't ya'll have hose bibs in the garage, or have heater tape to put on the pipe so it doesn't freeze?
Depends on where you live, when your house was built and whether your garage is attached or detached. I had hot and cold outdoor taps in one house but it was only a year old - this one is 144 years old - I’m lucky it has running water.

That is the thickest in TchiGahgo.
Northern NorTakolta and Mennesolta also have the Canadian "eh" and a somewhat toned down skandihuuvian "aboot (about) the moose in the hoose (house)."

Only if you can get to the tap…

This is what I use.
EccoTemp L5 waterheater is the best 120$ I ever spent !
The thing is rigged up with a milk crate and bbq tank. I wheel it out wherever it's needed.
It gets pretty cold & snowy here, fortunately roads don't get salted.
Anyway, hotwater is a treat to wash the car or dog during winter.
In the barn, I'll even shower with it sometimes so I don't bring extra dirt in the house.

To avoid going through any kind of car wash, what are you all doing in the Winter time to rinse off the under carriage of the salt/brine? I only ever took my 2021 Ranger though a car wish once and that was last year during Winter to rinse off the under carriage after the roads dried off after a snow storm. I usually hand wash during warmer temps and try to spray off underneath as best I can, but I'm not going to hand wash during Winter.
This Winter the Ranger has been sitting in the driveway while I use the ole AWD Mountaineer to drive if we're supposed to get snow or if roads have been salted/brined and until that stuff dries up on the roads.
Val, I think I found the perfect place to get your under carriage washed.:wink:?
