Good point, I don't drive enough as it is so a trip to the self wash would be good.
What's nice is it's open 24/7. Sometimes I'll go there at 9-10 pm and it's usually empty. Plus it's still well over 100* out and the mist from the bay feels good. Things ya gotta do living in paradise. ?

Got off the ferry from Nova Scotia and that accent was all I heard from Portland, ME to Providence, RI. :D
People here will always ask me why I don't talk funny being from MA? I'm so glad I'm from the western part of the state and never had that funny accent. :lipssealed:

I couldn’t help but feel sorry for the folks who lived in Warwick and Providence, Rhode Island.

Q: So, where’re you from?

A: I’d wather not say.

Would be worse if it was a touch car war
I wonder. The water pressure is much lower in a soft touch. I bet that there was a small blister in the stripe that popped and took some material with it.

So I’ve had my 22 Tremor lariat since June
It has 5000miles on it
Passenger door doesn’t sit flush when closed. So all the stickers on passenger side will need replaced once realigned
Hand brake boot is flaking apart
I have a bad front parking sensor
Steering wheel is slightly off when driving straight
Now sticker is peeling off in car wash!
Dealer is getting this back. And I won’t take it back till it’s all fixed!

im a Ford guy, always have been! I waited almost a year from the time I ordered it to delivery. And I gotta say build quality and material quality is just awful!

ford do better

Hi John,

It would appear that Build Quality and Michigan Assembly Plant are directly opposite, sadly.

Best,
Phil

Good luck. You waited a year for the truck, expect to wait a month or so for Ford as it sits at the dealer waiting until they can get to it to correct these defects.

Maybe they only hear the Polish. :p
That is the thickest in TchiGahgo.
Northern NorTakolta and Mennesolta also have the Canadian "eh" and a somewhat toned down skandihuuvian "aboot (about) the moose in the hoose (house)."

I can look forward to the mist creating a fine layer of ice all over me.?

Something isn't right because like you if I don't have time or it's to hot outside I'll go through a touchless wash and have never had anything happen. I still prefer the hand held self serve wands as you can get a better job (at least I feel you do) doing it yourself. But even those seem to be higher pressure than the touchless wash. ? Maybe they deleted the glue and we need to add that to the list now??
I agree, I don't think the car wash is the problem. Stuff shouldn't come off that easily,

To avoid going through any kind of car wash, what are you all doing in the Winter time to rinse off the under carriage of the salt/brine? I only ever took my 2021 Ranger though a car wish once and that was last year during Winter to rinse off the under carriage after the roads dried off after a snow storm. I usually hand wash during warmer temps and try to spray off underneath as best I can, but I'm not going to hand wash during Winter.
This Winter the Ranger has been sitting in the driveway while I use the ole AWD Mountaineer to drive if we're supposed to get snow or if roads have been salted/brined and until that stuff dries up on the roads.
I got this for mine but haven't used it yet:

I've never hand washed my Ranger. and the only scratches I've got are from much "harder" things than pressurized water.

I use touchless washes regularly. I don't do anything that touches the truck because of the bed rack. not gonna get that snagged on anything and ripped off. speaking of, I should make a run to get the salt off.

Hey John,

Those under carriage sprayers for pressure washers are great and I want one, mostly for cleaning mud off the under side.

Unfortunately, they are bricked in the winter because we northerners have turned off our outside faucets for the season, pumped anti-freeze into our pressure washers and drained our garden hoses.

So, yeah, it’s off to the touchless car wash with the under carriage sprayer after a snow event that put salt trucks out on the roads.

Just the realities of not living in paradise. :(
Don't ya'll have hose bibs in the garage, or have heater tape to put on the pipe so it doesn't freeze?

I dunno, you may have a slight wicked pissah accent. Whenever you hypnotize me to buy more Ranger stuff, I always end up have a hankering for lobster or a Kelly's roast beef ... =p
