And it's CSX. Worst of the entire bunch. It'll get there eventually. Matter of fact "priority rush" in the CSX world means "eventually." Once mine ever ships it will be on NS. Fingers crossed they have their normal "better than CSX" performance. We'll see.

Well my "Current" build date seems to be sticking to "Week of Feb. 13th." So if, IF that date holds, I'm figuring I should get my truck in mid to late March. Assuming typical railroad speedy delivery.

As others have said on this forum, if Ford would allow us to go to MI and pick it up I'd be all over that option.

I feel like the 6G release is helping me in that they are going to be pressing hard to get the remaining 23's out the door. Down side of that though is that pressure may cause them to make some decisions that I don't like. Is what it is though. I'm the one who deliberately waited for the last MY of the current generation. And I am and always have been a Ford guy so that involves a fair amount of trust in the big blue oval.

So I just checked in with chat and the new status was “ Ranger is in transit and has arrived at a mixing center and is available for unloading. Railcar #NKCR007125”. They also said the location of the mixing center was MAP. When I call CSX they say it has been in Chicago clearing Illinois since Jan 5 with no ETA. Not sure what to do with all the information. Ship date was 1/1.

Freaking CSX. I swear you could ship something from Tampa to Miami and those incompetent clowns would route it through Chicago. And when railcars get to that Chicago yard... let the fun begin.

Unreal how that railroad continues to exist. Great example of how a complete lack of competition can turn a market segment into a shitshow. If customers could chose which RR they wanted versus using the one they are stuck with, that organization would be belly up in about 15 minutes.

Yeah it’s a mess forsure. And thanks! I used the link below to see that my Railcar has left Chicago clearing but I’m not sure where it went after that. I called the beltway rail company and they were VERY unhappy that I called them to track a single Railcar. My patients is running thin!

My, "father in law" is a giant train finatic. He has made documentaries on trains kind of fanatic.

He said when he heard my truck was coming via rail, good luck. Apparently, he says, new car transports are lowest of priority for trains. Which means it could sit in a yard for weeks waiting to get moving and they won't think twice about it...

Figures, now that I'm pretty much done with getting this truck, NOW I get the email that it's been shipped ?. Even my sales guy texted me letting me know. Estimated delivery 1/13 - 1/19.

You've waited this long, what's another few weeks?

I know it sucks being this close to the end. When my truck was sitting in rail yards was the hardest time I had since ordering the truck. Knowing the truck was literally closer to me than the dealership.

The wait is worth it to get what you ordered, not what happens to be on the lot.

Hey, I appreciate it. The only dilemma is that I have a road coming up in February. I’ve been looking at other trucks and only have eyes for the ranger I ordered haha. Yesterday chat said my truck was in Colorado. Woohooo!!!

We ended up taking the outback on our road trip in December because my truck didn't arrive in time.

It sucked, I would have loved to take the truck cross country.

But I'm also glad we didn't put 5k miles on the truck the first month I owned it. LOL

I had ordered and purchased a 22 Ranger and It did take about 7 months 1.5 weeks to get to the dealer. Now that was a wait….. patience is of virtue……. I am calculating the 23 ranger we also have on order (ordered Oct 20th) & (pro week Feb 6th) will take about 5 months…….. NO BIG DEAL……… Relax, no one has a gun to your head. Just kick back and enjoy life and what it has for you to learn from it…………… Your Ranger will come soon enough……… it really will…….. Relax.

No way in hell am I buying something else. Yea I'm tired of waiting. But I knew that going into this deal. In the current world it is what it is. The days of getting an ordered vehicle in 8-10 weeks are gone. My Ranger will be here when it gets here. Only truck I want. That's why I ordered it.

Just my 2 cents. NOT criticizing anyone else's plans/thoughts.

OK so they said my ranger was in production on January 8. Now all of a sudden it says that my ranger is in production. Starting today…. Ughhh honestly
Considering after this Ranger switching Car Manufacturers for our family. Between service issues on my wife’s car at Ford. And all this time waiting on a Ranger to be built just for them to keep putting the dates off is ridiculous. I’m so over it. We’ve been waiting three months for an engine to show up at the dealership for my wife’s car.

Yes, but you have to understand at the same time that you can’t just go onto a Ford lot and pick out whatever you want nowadays. Ford CEO is switching up everything and changing how ordering the new vehicles is being done as well as placing restrictions on smaller dealerships as well coming out into the EV market they want dedicated dealerships able to produce sales for their electric vehicles. And to be honest, the majority of all Ford vehicles are priced so high that even regular people cannot even afford a car. In fact, most of these electric vehicles are almost a mortgage payment.
