This tangled mess of plastic/rubber is a Door edge guard. It guards the edges of the doors from damage. Hence the name Door edge guard.

Actually, it's official title is "Car Door Protectors Edge Guards Clear,16Ft(5M) Car Edge Trim Rubber Seal Protector with U Shape Car Protection Door Edge Guard Fit for Most Car (Clear)"

@subquark I'm tagging you for literally no reason.

Up close detail, and yes my hands look like trash.

Will install this weekend if work doesn't get in the way.
LOL, I'd love to see a pic once you have them on. Because, you know, I'll need to add this to Soupie!

Got these raptor style lights from Stage3. Pretty easy to install. Not really impressed as the lights are behind the grill. Wish there was an option for them to be outside the grill to be more visible. Not bad though for the stock grill :)

Hey Trevor, I thought of that too because I hate cleaning my wheels. Then I thought about how much easier it would be than keeping the wheels clean on this…it was a company car with a logo on it so I had to keep it clean - ugh! Had to use a paint brush.

I‘ve seen a few posts about using ceramic coatings or Graphene detail spray on wheels - I might give that a try on my Ranger’s wheels.

I initially ceramic coated my wheels. I touch them up every few months with graphene. I think it helps keep them clean or at least easier to clean.
