Got the spare tire mounted in the 5th tremor wheel. Fits just fine down there. Not sure why the 50mph sticker in the spare wheel. Same tire as the other 4.

i have those as well. And I love them. Especially the little “ranger” hidden in the tailight housing. Excellent touch.

Went for a recon drive after getting about 16 inches of powder. I brought my kinetic rope just in case I see anyone stuck. Sure enough after being on the road for 5 minutes and 2 corners later I see 3 jeeps and a sienna van on a nasty crowned corner.

The van had 2 wheels just off the pavement into the 3 ft ditch. The jeeps and drivers had just finished giving up on getting this van out of the ditch. No tow straps or rope apparently. Apparently the 1 jeep had just got unstuck after it too went into the ditch.

Long story short. The kinetic rope worked like a charm on the van. Hooked it to the rear of the Ranger with slack. Gave it some momentum and kept going until the van was clear. Shortly after, a Subaru wagon passes by straddling the opposite side and gets stuck just as I unshackle the rope. Now for the Subaru.

Hook up the rope to front of the Ranger and rear of the Subaru. Easy work with this kinetic rope and the torque of the Ranger. I was a bit shocked how easy it all was.

I didn't do anything with it today, and I won't be doing anything with it Wednesday or Thursday! Wind chill is going to be -40° to-60° below zero. I think we will all stay inside and hope the furnace keeps on working and that the power stays on. Last week we had almost 4 full days of blizzard conditions with 36" of snow and drifts 4-5 ft deep in spots and other spots just bare ground showing.

I find in the morning with temps in the high 30's, low 40's, it can take the Ranger 4 banger a bit to warm up enough to feel any heat coming in the cabin! I know it's only worse in your environment.

Wow, lots of snow but the brutal arctic blast this week is going to be frigid. Have already had over six feet of snow at our cabin.

Those wheels look so much better!. No lift or lifted?

You live in my favorate part of the world. I do the drive from SoCal at least once a year. Wish it was an hour or two closer and I'd spend more time there. Next time I want to bring my Ranger for some off-roading.
I have the Fox Ford Performance leveling kit on for some time now. Sedona nice but to far from everything. The trails are narrow around here, expect lots of free AZ pinstriping.

Have they grown in that much? I know the Outlaw trail and Diamondback Gultch use to be free of brush. You could get through them without any pinstriping but I haven't been on those two in two years.

You are correct, the popular trails have enough room to get through without any/minimal pinstriping. There is another trail called Skeleton Bones that put the Gultch to shame, straight up and down several time, not Ranger friendly. We tend to stay off the beaten path mostly, Munds Park is a cool area to explore.

Coming from maritime trades where if you attach a line to another vessel you assume 100% responsibility (If it sinks you buy it worst case) does anyone know the legal ramifications of yanking people out of ditches?
I have done it too but this just popped into my mostly empty head.
