I think the most difficult off road trip I've done in the Ranger so far was taking one across the Simpson Desert. Out of all 8 vehicles we brought along, the only one that never broke, and never got stuck was the Ranger. I resolved to buy one as soon as they came to the US, and with the help of Ford, got one of the very first ones off the production line.
I'm driving the Ranger in the attached photo from that trip. The 40 was a blast though.

You guys are the ones throwing around personal insults and baseless claims every time I try and share a little hard earned knowledge. That makes it a bummer trying to participate, and then reduces the quality of the information available on this forum. I really just don't get to what end you do that for.
