I’d rather glean from the experience of @Wes Siler than a gaggle of retirees drooling over vinyl Ranger decals and other bedazzlements. That aspect of this forum drives me nuts.
These are facts. Stickers don’t make you more capable. Just look like a mall crawler. @Wes Siler has actually taken his truck off pavement, un like our light loving other posters.

Stickers, for those who do like them, do make your rig go faster, and like chrome, do add immense HP.
Now, my Ranger is a 2 WD, so no, I don't take it off road.
But, I do tow a 6500 lb travel trailer and I can almost say with 100% certainty, that when towing, my Ranger is put under a whole lot more stress than yours does when your out "wheeling" !!!
As for your "assumption", you have absolutely no knowledge of what the thousands of members do with their rigs. Don't make yourself out to be the first 3 letters of that word.

Thank you. Feedback is a gift. I tow with mine as well. The ranger is strong as heck. West coast mountains are not a problem at all

And how did you come to that conclusion?

You could just ask.

I think the most difficult off road trip I've done in the Ranger so far was taking one across the Simpson Desert. Out of all 8 vehicles we brought along, the only one that never broke, and never got stuck was the Ranger. I resolved to buy one as soon as they came to the US, and with the help of Ford, got one of the very first ones off the production line.

I'm driving the Ranger in the attached photo from that trip. The 40 was a blast though.

A man who thinks a lifted Subaru Outback is the "Ultimate Offroad Adventure Vehicle" is NOT the real deal.

See that is one of my problems, my question to the other person was not about you, but rather why he assumed other parties did not "leave payment". But in your head, the world revolves around you so you thought to post this. We get it, you want the world to know who you are from using your real name plastered on everything to having a URL registered for your own name with the self proclaimed title "Outside's most controversial journalist" with lots of badass instagram level selfies and action shots.

We are all narcissistic in some ways, but good grief.

Yeah, I participate here under my real name, not a pseudonym, because I'm a real person who really like Rangers. How on earth is that a bad thing?

I'm glad you think my photos are badass.

Its not a bad thing, it is just off putting when coupled with other factors. But anyhow, more power to you. I'll bow out of this circle jerk.

You guys are the ones throwing around personal insults and baseless claims every time I try and share a little hard earned knowledge. That makes it a bummer trying to participate, and then reduces the quality of the information available on this forum. I really just don't get to what end you do that for. If you're jealous that my life is a little more exciting than yours, why don't you just use the knowledge I'm happy to share freely to go and do some more exciting stuff?
