Apologies if this is already here somewhere. I did search the forum prior to posting.

Owners manual. I am very anal about them. Read them cover to cover. As such I want to get a jump on my soon to be built velocity blue baby. I have found the link on Fords site. And already reviewed some sections. But is there some where that I can actually download a PDF of the manual?

Thx!

I'm an idiot. Just found a 2020 version that I'd downloaded at some point. Sorry folks. I've been "truck deciding" (F350, F150, Ranger, spreadsheets, spec (over)analysis, truck vs retirement plans... yea I'm ridiculous) for over a year before finally ordering my Ranger. Had no memory of having the manual.

Hi Friday Yet

Unfortunately the 2019 manual is poorly done...It is a dreaded job to get the new model manual right...almost impossible. I was responsible for it from 1999 to 2004 and we agonized over how to avoid mistakes or forget to include various aspects...

So even so, I applaud your reading the manual cover to cover...I do too for any new vehicle my wife and I buy...

best,
Phil

I would tell you about how many hours I'll spend in the garage and driveway just going over stuff, under hood, in cab, exterior, underneath... but I don't want to come off seeming any more weird.

If you download the FordPass App (phone or tablet), it contains the manual - it’s basically that same pdf but you’ll never have to wonder where it is.

You're on this forum, your weirdness is more than welcome and I have learned so many interesting things here - like how to bleed the brakes with FORScan!

We look forward to your insight! =)

That's not weird. Familiarizing yourself with the truck in good working order will help you identify problems when they arrise.

Is sitting in your new truck in the garage in the morning while drinking your coffee ok? 'Cause that's coming. :like:

+1 on that.

It's funny how we can take our new vehicles for granted. But if it was a valuable antique / collectible, we'd memorize the Owner's Manual and be able to recite all the various options, factory specs about everything (with all the variants for the model year), and know the entire history of the model line, etc. Memorizing countless obscure details of the powertrain, know all the colors available from the factory, and on and on. Spend endless hours scouring the dark recesses of the Interwebs for a copy of the original factory documentation, looking at old ads, posting all the new finds on forums, etc.

But we buy the thing new, and we're like "Yup! Got the new truck. Let's drive!"
The only difference is availability. We don't care about that stuff when it's easy to get.

LOL. People are funny creatures.

It is suggested to do that. Take her out of garage for coffee time to show off. Also admiring her at least twice a day and making circles without any reason around your truck is mandatory.
Ignore your family, friends and neighbors, their mean comments come from jealousy.
