Vince, I had a frustrating issue with a Dealership here in my city and was able to find another one 30 miles out of town. It was worth the drive because they appreciated my business and took care of me. Later I found another great dealership located closer right here in my city. So now I know of two who will give good service but refer the closer one.
Well that’s the thing I really trying to stay stress weight from going to the dealerships to deal with my truck at this time

I know that sounds absurd to appoint think it ticks me off is they know dang well what was wrong with this truck when I gave it to me then I come to find out that technically a demo vehicle is actually a new vehicle regardless of the miles and once it’s registered to the new owner it becomes a used vehicle

I wrote the forms for everyone says rangers are awesome OK well some should be so lucky they don’t have the issues that I have my biggest concern is the vibration it all speeds

I put a brand new left leafspring on today and my truck actually sets up weren’t supposed to know almost took it out for a drive in the vibration you could still feel it but it was not like totally shaking me out of the truck what was the thing is did not go to the dealership I bought the part from Ford and had someone put it on
Minus the stupid word shrooms that they put on and I found another thing the reason why they did not take the quarter inch plate out what the TSP says and no 12 paragraph because there is a clevis pin 2 inches behind the center pin that holds the main leave in attentional leave in a little square quarter inch plate that supposed to come out they didn’t want to mess with it and cut it out

I have a inclinometer App on my phone or how accurate that is I don’t know I plan on buying one this week but I did put it on a Neath the rear end and I came up with 1° so if memory serves me right maybe I’m wrong I should be good

I found out something else interesting going on with the truck now since I’ve been driving and working on vehicles the right shock and I left shock top of the frame are generally flush with the frame
Is that not correct ?
Therefore I’m trying to figure out why on my Ford ranger the right side is almost an inch higher above the frame and the left side is flush with the frame to see where I’m going with this but Wright shock is almost an inch taller than my left one because the left one is compressed because the mail is flush with the frame I can see the nut on my right shock between the frame and the bed of the truck contrary to the left side

that tells me Either they did an engineering boo-boo and screwed up somebody was drunk Monday through Friday when they welded the bracket in there and didn’t pay attention or this truck was damaged on that side and somebody repaired it and think about it which would explain why my bed is crooked

but see I still have the air issue on the passenger side I still have the issue with the little dips on the top of the cab white if you were doing bodywork so I just did a quick repair further about for enough and I still have the issue with the front bumper being crooked truck overall looks like it’s 65 miles an hour without that got off a whistling in the right side or vibrating my teeth out in the truck ain’t no good as far as getting rid of it I have the file I’m in law I gave up a perfect solid vehicle for this thing so
Some people say oh it’s all Ranger are good
I’ve had Ford my whole life trucks mustangs the old ones never had a truck like this was so much issues how I put my model collections together all four mustangs and they fit better than what this truck was put together with but it’s getting there slowly but I would like to know about the right shock mount at the top I cannot believe they purposely made that one and it’s taller than the left side to come up above the frame that does not seem logical I do not have the funds to trade this truck in for another vehicle or the patience funny thing about this micro vascular disease is it cause me severe blow ups when super stressed

so I try n stay calm
Thanks for input n advice appreciate it much

Vince,
Sorry you are having all those problems which I know from experience can be frustrating and disgusting. I purchased my 2020 while it was being assembled at the factory and took it home shortly after it was unloaded off the transport. Fortunately, I've had absolutely no serous problems with the Truck except for the SYNC 3 which is problematic in getting notices for updates from Ford and also a nuisance to install the updates but am able to work through that. The Truck has only 2600 miles on it so time will tell. Will be driving to AZ this summer so this will be a chance to test it on the open road. It drives and handles great, everything works and I'm very pleased with it over all. I especially like the steel bumpers. I am searching for a set of the 18" OEM black appearance package wheels and tires to upgrade which will match the STX black trim. I previously had a 2011 Ranger XLT 4.0 4X4 which was outstanding in every way. For that reason I was very reluctant to get rid of but now enjoy the new Ranger as much or more than the 2011! Hope you are able to solve your issues and find a satisfactory solution.

Whenever I do online research thru forums or elsewhere - no matter the product - I try to take a lot of the complaints with a grain of salt unless I'm finding a consistent trend with certain things.

Nothing is perfect and automobiles are no exception. Remember Tacoma frame cracking? Subaru engine mysterious oil disappearance, leaving owners with dry trashed engines? None of us want these things to happen. I just have to do "due diligence" and trust the outcome.

On the opposite end of the spectrum there is a huge benefit to these sites as well. I was interested in a new Ranger when they reintroduced them but had serious doubts about getting a mid-sized truck with a four-cylinder engine. I found nothing but strong praise and only a few crits over gas in oil. I took the chance and have no complaints at 6k miles. (I did the same for my previous 2019 Colorado that had the notorious tranny vibration which was cured with the most recent service update at the time). And so on and so forth... but I digress.

Now, when people ask how I like my Ranger, the first thing I say is how much I dig the engine!

Well the thing that gets me is this is not the truck we test drove it and test drove a red one without the bars on the side it was the same price as this one but they brought this one out so I couldn’t get the red one so I never drove this one so I guess that’s my fault in that aspect but I would not of realize the vibration until after the tank was empty but the door sound was ridiculous as well nothing still fixed right I had to buy my own until I buy my own locking lug nuts even though I paid forWell the thing that gets me is this is not the truck we test drove it and test drove a red one without the bars on the side it was the same price as this one but they brought this one out so I couldn’t get the red one so I never drove this one so I guess that’s my fault in that aspect but I would not of realize the vibration until after the tank was empty but the door sound was ridiculous as well nothing still fixed right I had to buy my own until I buy my own locking lug nuts even though I paid for them
GM at the Ford dealership in Lexington South Carolina is a twit got no balls
I got to figure out what’s going on with the right side though it’s just way too much airflow and I’m not sure how to adjust the door I don’t think there is an adjustment
Wow. That was hard to read without punctuation and the repeated paragraph - at least I think it was a paragraph.

I'm dizzy

like the truck !
first ranger i have had like i told the ford rep today love the truck interior is alot to get used to as in space wise went from big truck to small crew cab motor is peppy
like i said " my biggest issue is the vibration at all speeds now and the fact the air blows in the passenger side while a/c is on is ridiculous

so i have apt set up with a dealership NOT the morons i purchased from they said 'they only fix what they can see broken so i asked the rep can they not have seen the lean on left ???

anyways, put new leaf on left truck rides nice now is up higher :) yet im still trying to figure out why the right rear upper mount is almost 1" higher past frame ?
left side is flush "perplexing that is like have a motorcycle with left handle bar lower than the right or a woman wiht one saggy and one firm chest lol

hope they fix this and the body issues i never had a ford from any dealership this bad time will tell have a good day and thank you for input
