Of course you don’t! Unless you want one.:giggle:

I have to agree. There is NO need for a damper.

I won't hold it against anyone that wants one. To each their own.

Yes I am an odd duck out around here. I have no need for a damper plus I think the stock FX4 shocks are just fine too.

If so which ones work really well.
Use to the cables but seems many have opted to use the Dampers.
Yes, you need one. Although no TSB or recall has been issued yet, running your truck without a TG damper can cause excess fuel in the oil and water in the sparkplugs.

And causes the truck to be higher on one side...

yes you need one. Now that this thread is here. ....
HOW ABOUT BRAND QUALITY ON TAILGATE STRUT ASSIST??
Do not have a dee zee syrut assist. I have some amazon cheaper priced product. Open my tailgate 4 to 10 times daily. It seems to be dropping quicker than normal only after 5, 6 months. Are the deezees better quality? The amazon one seems to be ok, but....i dont think it will make it to see the new year

Comments??

You need a hydraulic ram instead. Really slam that F'er down. Need 3 people to close it. None of this soft new age garbage. Keep it hard. ?

OF COURSE YOU DO!

 This shouldn't even be a question on here anymore. Only the original will do....DeeZEE!:like:
Alright I am going to be in, not out. I have ordered the DeeZee. I already have hood struts which is unbalancing the level of my truck. ??
