Weird. Yeah I ordered my tremor with no issues at from my dealership.
Yeah I don’t know what the deal was. I tried with 3 ford dealers actually. 2 close by in SC and one in GA. And it wasn’t like they had one on the lot that they could even sell me. So I ended up finding a 22 with the same color and options in NC on the lot. 5k over msrp

You paid $5000 over MSRP?

Corporate drone. Dilbert's world is alive & well.
I had no issues in trying to order a tremor. Every dealer was willing to place the order. Did have issues with @$$holes trying to get more than MSRP. And though it pains me to say it, I think the Ford dealers in general are the worst! "Paint sealant. Safety package, custom flux capacitor, custom ink on sales contract, gallon of fan belt tensioner, market adjustment.... blah blah f***ing blah." Jeez, gags me to even say MSRP. Anyway, finally at the point of giving up and surrendering to MSRP.... found a dealer still participating in XPlan. Kind of like seeing a unicorn in today's world. I will be loyal to that crew for the rest of life. Seriously.

I can only hope the public has very LONG memories. This market will turn around. Don't know when, but it will. And the 90%+ of dealers f***ing the public need to be allowed to crash and burn. Shop the guys being fair now, and keep shopping them after the market returns... and the slimy bastards are screaming about deals, rebates, etc. At that point watch them drown in inventory.

We’ll said. Unfortunately in my area, I had to pay to play - some paint protection add on and some security window etching.. totaled out a little under a $1k. Better than a different dealer asking for $3k markup. Had to pick the lesser of evils.

No dealer markups up here with the 5 dealers I contacted to order my Maverick. This is still all new to me as I have never paid MSRP on any new vehicle purchase. Found a nice 2022 Ranger Lariat yesterday with 5K on the clock for 42K. Would have to check the window sticker but I would believe that is close if not equal to original MSRP. Things are just nuts right now as the Ford dealer had more used Silverados on the lot than used Rangers.

I had not hear any issues ordeing the Tremor Package, but I think the constraint on ording a 501A Lariat package has been there since order banks opened.

@AzureRanger go check out the 2023 f150 tremor build and price.... The AGM looks like the ranger. It looks nothing like the lightening... I'm thinking it's gonna be a gorgeous blue, not a basic silver/grey.

In the current market I think you made out ok. Sucks, but it is reality currently. And the bright side is, soon (relatively) you'll be driving a badass truck!

The pain of dealing with local dealership. Submitted an order for a 23 XL Aug 10th, basic truck only option was trailer tow package. Days and weeks go by while I see all the others on the forum receiving e mail confirmations from Ford on order accepted. Contact my assigned sales rep and ask "what happens next/now?, most others receive an e mail" I'll let you know... A few more weeks go by and still nothing, just looking for a confirmation of an order at this point, still sales rep has nothing. End up calling sales manager and Ford 800 number both of which confirm order was submitted Aug 10th. Weeks go by again, e mail sales rep, still nothing. Yesterday I called sales mgr at dealer again, he asks what my email address is and says "oh, they forgot the "o" in your e mail address so you haven't received anything, I'll fix it" and says build date is 11/17. Called Ford 800 # this morning to get correct VIN and sure enough get the attached screenshot. Since they goofed my e mail address up and I never received any e mails from ford I have to check order status manually everytime I log into MyFord.com until the next update comes through.

Question, with an Aug 10th order date for a base ranger XL with a tow package Nov 17th build date seems to be behind others submitting on or before the same date, true?

I ordered the 9th of Aug, and my build date is the same as yours...

Well, sort of, you sure your build date didn't shift to the 24th?
